   Have always loved going to these greengrocers but was really disappointed yesterday - went in to grab herbs for my workplace as normal, have been doing this for weeks if not months! Older lady with glasses was extremely unprofessional, claiming they didn't take card (and then immediately pulled out a machine?) and when I tried to pay, said something under her breath that she wouldn't repeat? I just think it was a very odd way to behave considering I've never had problems shopping there before. I agree that cash is king and should be used to help smaller businesses or companies like this! Maybe they were flustered as it was quite busy but a real shame about the obvious lack of customer service.

   It's a great place to get Fresh fruit n veg. Great staff, it's one of our regular shops when we visit. Great choice of merchandise. We never leave Chester without having something nice from here. Also so refreshing to have a proper shop.

   Terrible experience this morning, despite shopping here for over 15 years at 9am on Saturdays they refused to serve me and staff asked me to leave despite me already picking mushrooms, a lady had walked in with raspberries and was served immediately! I then spoke to the owner twice who responded by saying his restaurant and orders were his priority and still wouldn't let me get my weekly goodies, I was just shocked and still am. I shop at Waitrose but chose to get my veg and stuff here but seems like that's going to change as I won't be going back. Most of my favourite shops have all gone now in the centre but this is different as self imposed by the owner who just wishes to turn away faithful customers, they also referred to health and safety which was just beyond me! Well in future I'll be going to shop were they respect my business with a smile in these hard times. Bye

   Went on Friday afternoon to get some fruit and vegetables. The staff was nice enough but while picking out my fruit I came across some rotten ones in the stalls. Came home and over half of the fruit and vegetables were rotting from the inside. Would expect better quality for the amount of money we spent to be honest.

   Always a pleasure too come here. Veggies are fresh, clean and taste amazing. The Staff is lovely and very helpful. I once asked them how to best prepare and cook a vegetable I bought and what would go great with it. They gave me very good advice. It’s definitely worth the extra money.
