Great hotel with very professional staff. A lovely room with a nice view. Will definitely stay again if I’m visiting. The bar/restaurant is a must, best chicken burger I’ve ever had.

Hotel was nice, rooms were decent, clean tidy had nice showers. Was really let down by breakfast paid £33.90 for 2 people. No meat free veggie options, cheap Ketchup and Mayo, no scrabbled eggs on offer, what we did find was fairly cold.

Great value for price paid - 60 pounds/night. Service - exceptional staff and cleaning. Simona at front desk and Emily in the gym were amazing. Very accommodative and helpful. Corridor did smell a bit funky the first night but solved by second night. Gym - on par with any normal gym and 10/10 for a hotel. Ton of new machines, squat racks, exercise bikes, large variety free weights. Sauna, 20m pool and steam room. Room - newly refurbished so clean and modern. Bed was amazing. My partner now wants this mattress. Parking - book directly through them over the phone and you get free parking! Repeats test - definitely on the repeat list Value 10/10

The hottest hotel! The rooms are absolutely baking with no airflow at all, a hotel of a this standard really should have air con. I’ve seen reviews where people had a fan but ours didn’t. The rooms are nice and clean, pool’s decent but the local gym goers get a bit marry when you’re not swimming lengths - is it a hotel pool or a gym pool? Probably a would be a great stay in the winter months when you want a warm room but it’s a struggle in the summer time.

Check in was super quick and easy. Very pleasant lady on reception. All of the staff that we encountered were very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable about the hotel, it's facilities and the surrounding area. BIG shout out to Hannah in the bar area as she went above & beyond to make our time in the bar & restaurant a exceptionally pleasant time. We stayed in a double room overlooking the quays that was well equipped with items such as an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Great selection of food for breakfast. All in all we had a nights stay with the comfiest bed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Sheffield.

Let's get the bad part out of the way, staff... Where are they? Can never find them only at breakfast. Apart from this the hotel is amazing, clean, spacious. Location is perfect and the way it's built into what looks to be an old railway line is very cool. You can walk around the docks too and take in some industrial sight. The walk into town after 18:00 is really sketchy it's like a proper Northern town that's going through some hard times everything run down. Homeless people around.... The room was special though, huge bed and the biggest bathroom I've seen in a hotel. There's also a gym and swimming pool which are also very big.

Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious and clean room and bathroom, nice toiletries provided. The view to the canal is calming. Happy to return anytime. 10-15 minutes walk to city centre or train station.

We stayed for two nights in September and had a good stay. The bed was very comfortable and having a balcony overlooking the canal basin / quay was quite a treat. The quality of the food at breakfast was a bit mediocre but perfectly edible. The room was a bit tired and in need of refurbishing, but then so is the whole area around the hotel (at least until you get past the cathedral). We had an adjoining room but must have have quiet neighbours because they certainly didn't disturb us. Staff were very friendly. Car parking was free which was unexpected (the website says it is £7 / night). If we happened to be in Sheffield again, I would be happy to stay here again.
