Nice and helpful staff. Room clean and tidy with a nice large shower room Nice hot breakfast with plenty of choice Late night drink a little expensive for a mid range hotel. Will use again but will have our 'nightcap' before getting back to the hotel
We stayed for 2 consecutive nights in August, raised noise complaints during the night which were actioned so no issues there and the room itself + breakfast were good, location is good because close to town but also in a rough area. We paid for 48 hours parking in the hotel carpark (have proof of payment) + gave staff our reg number when we got there, yet since August have received TWO separate parking fines because hotel staff forgot to put our car reg on the “white list”, the first fine we contested and were told it was the hotel staff’s error so they let it go, the second fine we didn’t even receive notification from ParkMaven and it went straight to bailiffs. Absolute joke and ended up costing us £170, won’t be staying again.
An excellent stay last night. Sundays are v cheap and include breakfast which is fantastic value. Checked in via app so didn’t need to q at reception. Very good sized room. And quiet through the night. Lovely breakfast too with lots of options. Staff at breakfast were very friendly.
Pretty average food and fairly small portions for the price. Restaurant is all self service other than bringing the food to you so the resraurant lacks that personal touch. Alcohol is quite pricey and the bar area is really bright with minimal atmosphere. Good location with easy links to transport hub, shops and pubs though. The gym is OK but on the small side. The room I had was really clean, although the temperature was inconsistent as it completely turned off when the room is empty.
This is a good hotel made excellent by the friendly, attentive, professional and fun front of house staff. Nothing was to much trouble. In fact hats off to all the staff. They were all incredible. The rooms are big, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The air-con was icy cold on a hot August day. The bathrooms are modern with a powerful hot shower. Ironing boards and irons in every room. Centrally located. Breakfast was included in the price and plentiful. Hot, cold, fresh waffles, fabulous. We stopped for 2 nights for my son’s wedding at Kelham Island and these guys made the run up and the following morning so hassle free. There were 4 generations of our family stopping and we all agreed our stay was perfect.
We have stayed in this chain of Hotels so was hoping it was as good as the others & they didn't disappoint what an excellent location, very close to the City Centre & not far off the motorway. It was so easy to find & the staff made the check-in so easy there was somemore of my family with us & there room was ready as it was only dinnertime but they contacted me as soon as ours was available. The room was massive that you could of fitted a sofe bed in ours as well & the daughters room was just as big with a sofa bed in for the Granddaughter, the rooms where spotless & everything in them that you'd need for a stay. The bar didn't get used but was there if needed but the breakfast in the morning was tremendous there's everything you can think of to eat & in with the price of the room the staff where so helpful busy topping everything up & is worth the stay alone. I would definitely recommend this hotel & intend to stay again.
Currently under reservation. We went whilst there was some kind of sporting event on in the city so the hotel was full of students. Despite this the service remained very good. The only thing I didn't like was the cost of parking on site
Did a two night stay in Sheffield. Couldn't fault the Hampton by Hilton. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We'll within walking distance of the city centre for shopping and eating out. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thanks again to all staff for a great two night stay.
The room we ended up in was great but that was after our original room had failed air con and our room key wouldn't operate the lift, big thanks to Laura for sorting this out. When we got back to our room we couldn't get room service, despite it being advertised in the lift and this morning we discovered we only have 2 tea bags...whats that all about Hilton? The hotel itself is in a good spot, is very modern and clean but falls below what you expect from a Hilton.
We stayed for 1 night which we booked last minute and the price was very reasonable, and included complimentary breakfast which made it good value for money and cheaper than budget chain hotels. We used the digital check in/ key service which was very convenient for us. We got to pick our own room which was spacious and clean. The only downside was that the bed made a noise every time you moved which kept waking us up and the pillows were a bit soft for our liking. The bathroom was a good size and had a shower screen, not curtain which we like. The receptionist was very polite and offered us local recommendations. The parking at the side of the hotel was convenient and an easy process to use/ pay for. The rate was reasonable and in line with other local cities rates.
