   Our dog Max absolutely hates having his nails clipped. We tried everything at home, but to no avail. We have been taking him to the Groom Room every few months to see Tasha. We couldn't recommend anyone better, she does an amazing job evertime. Tash you're an absolute star. Thank you.

   Absolutely dreadful experience to watch. Just before Christmas I was stood just outside the groom room at elk mill looking at coats for my frenchie. The store was fairly quiet but inside the groom were 2 dogs being done by 2 separate ladies. There is a very large glass window and door which allows you to see in from the shop floor. As I was looking at coats I could hear one of the dogs barking, looked to be a white American bulldog mix, barking due to nervousness/anxiety and feeling uncomfortable. The lady who was grooming the other dog was screaming ‘shut up’ multiple times at the dog who was barking, whilst grooming a tiny shi-tzu which also looked extremely nervous and she kept pulling at its chin to put its head up whisky continuously shouting at the other. Do not take your dogs here to be groomed, especially nervous dogs as they have no patience and will make them feel 10x worse.

   Took our German shepherd girl, Xena, here for her first bath just three weeks after she came to live with us from Bulgaria. The staff at Groom Room were so lovely and kind to her, and took things at her pace, spending time getting to know her before they took her in for her bath. They didn't do anything to her that she didn't want them to. Afterwards they took the time to explain everything to us, what they could and couldn't do for her, and she came out looking so floofy and smelling lovely. What a brilliant, positive first experience for our girl. Would highly recommend!

   DO NOT USE. I took my bichon here after 6 months of visiting the same groomer and having no problems at all. The staff were rude, didn’t listen to what I asked for and ruined my dogs coat. They shaved off all of his fur and left his tail and ears ridiculously long, I had to ask the lady to trim some more off his ears and she rolled her eyes at me. He looks like he has just been attacked with scissors. Getting a dog groom is meant to be exciting but I left this place in tears. I would not recommend this if your dog has a long coat as the people here are not trained to deal with this.

   Wow, absolutely excellent service from the girls in the groom room. First time at the groomers for my 8 month labradoodle Alan. We discussed how I would like him to be cut and they did exactly what I asked for. I've never left him alone with anyone before and they told me he was amazing for them. I'm sure he loved the pamper session. Easy online booking. Great honest pricing. Definitely will be going again.
