Not the best. Lots of products not available. Hot food section looks a bit grim. Prices average. Service good. Shop small and not much space to move. Max 4 people and feels crowded. Does what it needs I suppose
Used to be a convenient Co-op with friendly staff. These days it a Nisa Local that costs a small fortune to shop in and smells really bad.

For decades this used to be the old Co-op on Utting Avenue. Most people still recognise the shop by this name. It's a handy place to get your essentials when you don't feel like going through a supermarket. It's useful to be able to park outside and nip in for items. It contains a good range of foods at reasonable prices and has a cash machine by the front door which is very convenient.
Absolutely awful experience tonight. After shopping in this store before it was even Nisa, previously Co-op. Very very rude staff. Trying to accuse my daughter of stealing a £1.20 drink whilst I’m in the queue paying for two of the same, and she’s stood by the door waiting. Guy on till had already scanned it, but his till froze. Second staff member decided it would be ok to try chase my 11 year old daughter down the block and traumatise her, shaking in tears. Other local shops came out to show their support after knowing our family in local community for over 15 years. Disgusted. Poor lack of understanding, arrogant. When I tried to speak about it he decided to get aggressive pointing in my face and shouting, luckily with support of enough local business owners and residents he backed down.. otherwise I think he might have hit me. For reference I’m a 5” young woman. Never even will I shop in that store. Such a shame as other members of staff in there are truly lovely genuine people. I have added pictures of these staff to make you all aware.
