   I loved going to Jays cafe. It had a shabby chic vibe and relaxing music. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. However, they have changed staff, the food and interior design. I commented on how the place looks different and I was slightly confused with the new staff. They slagged off the old staff boasting about a new tapas menu and bar. Pushing me to drink. I think it looks tacky now. I don’t like tapas food. I want a huge fry up and their home made cakes. I don’t want alcohol, I want my cappuccino and chilled vibes. I miss the old jays

   Had a gorgeous roast dinner delivered from Jay’s. Meat and veg were beautifully cooked, loads of variety, and the gravy was unreal. Proper roasties too! Highly recommend.

   Absolutely lovely. Fantastic food. I took my 5 month old puppy in, she was a bit loud at times but the staff were amazing with her helping her to feel calm and relaxed.

   Lovely cafe, fabulous staff. They fitted 6 of us in and they were very busy. Kept the kids entertained with games and colouring books. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. If we are ever over on the wirral again would definitely return
