Visiting Liverpool for the weekend & had service above & beyond at Tesco express firstly from Claire in accessing products including ice that was not on the shelves & then Pradeep security to purchase & get a bag which all made life more personable & achieved my aim….. appreciated as had an attempted pickpocket as I entered Tesco who then ran off.

Really gone downhill recently, big glass screens around the tills and shelves, looks like a shop in a war zone, make it impossible to bag your shopping and generally give a really bad impression of the area! Stopped stocking loads of basic items, moved all the nicer beers out of the fridge and onto the shelves. Most of the younger staff just grunt at you when serving at the tills, and never ask if you have a club card to basically try to trick you into overpaying. All problems clearly caused by poor management of the store, used to be a great little shop a couple of years ago
Apparently it's policy to make the alarm assault everyone's ears in the self service area - only after you pay will they silence it (doesn't matter how long it takes). So daft.
Such a wonderful team very professional. I have lost my bracelet in the shop. I reported it to a member of the team I was contacted next day by Mr David Ellis who was very polite and helpful. He personally delivered the bracelet to the carrier company to deliver to me. He wrapped it carefully and printed labels on the delivery package and ensured this was clear. The bracelet meant a lot to me as it was a gift from my late father. I can’t thank Mr Ellis and the team enough for taking the effort to look for my bracelet and then taking extra steps to deliver to to me in another city. I’m really grateful.

Best Tesco express Smart staff Parking space East
The staff are nice and friendly in this place, but the stock levels are always atrocious! Tesco makes billions in profit every year, so why it can't keep the shelves full in this small supermarket is beyond me. For some reason, the stock levels of fruit and veg has always been a problem in this Tesco Express. I live in Greenbank Road and I usually never shop in the place because I know I'll be disappointed; it's also very expensive. For instance, I popped in there last summer and the loose bananas were that rotten they were covered in flies! I'd avoided the place for months, but today I was pushed for time so I popped in. This time around there were no loose bananas at all, and no bread! As usual, they had plenty of their very expensive bagged organic bananas in stock, that's because they're that expensive people avoid buying them. It happens all the time, I once went in there for some milk and they had no milk! In the end, I went to another supermarket who never have a problem keeping their shelves full. The place is literally a waste of space.
Small young lady with glasses just let a person jump the queue in front of me and when I confronted her about this, she said she didn't see and instead of serving me, she began serving said person even though she hadn't started yet. I was the only person in the queue, stood there for 5 minutes while she serves one person, and the guy ran from the entrance so I'm not sure how you could be so blind as to not see this and remedy your mistake. She didn't say next please or anything, complete lack of awareness and she couldn't have cared less, very rude.
