   Only been in this shop a hand full of times and had the same experience each time. An older man works here about middle 60s and has the same attitude problem with sarcasm as always. He needs to understand not everyone is in a mood to have a joke. I just want to be served and not have to try and understand his sarcastic jokes. Seriously needs to become more professional and take into account people aren’t always in a humorous mood.

   Just gonna balance out the super unfair 1 star reviews I've seen here. Perfectly good tesco with nice staff. Also a security guard saying to be quick if you get there 10 minutes before close and a security guard telling you that they'll let you take three costa cups this time because a cashier said you could but that you weren't allowed to do it again is completely reasonable. Also the "elderly grumpy man on the door" is awesome. The person commenting with an anonymous account online calling a store worker in their 50s with a biker beard who asked them to be quick an "elderly grumpy man" is not.

   I was there on this Sunday, about 10 mins from their closure time. I was about to grab a drink and some snacks after a long shift at work (couldn't do it otherwise). I was 'welcomed' by their door man (the one with long gray beard) who welcomed me saying 'you better hurry up, whatever you getting'. I was being brief anyway, as I know what working on closing duty looks like, but still... Not a very welcome. The Tesco staff at a till was brilliant though, big applause for them. Still, you need to do something about this elderly grumpy man at the door.

   Security was a bit overzealous. I came in to get some allergy meds and also wanted to get some cups real quick. At checkout, I purchased some Lemsip tabs, and I took three of the small Costa cups and asked the cashier present if it was OK to take them, and he said it was fine. As I was walking to the exit, the security guard told me he would let me take the cups this time, but next time I cannot. Again, the cashier told me it was OK to take these items, but I was told off by the security guard present. I've been to this Tesco numerous times over the years, and I've not had an incident like this. I am confused by this interaction, and I really don't feel comfortable going to this Tesco anymore. Happily, there are others around as well as alternative stores.

   What ever you do, don't walk around this shop with a hoodie on because you have to be stealing if u do. Security guard logic. Other then that it yet another Tesco.
