Great location but few of staff members are not nice, Colleague name is Lilly, unhelpful and very rude really unhappy with his customer service.
Staff keep blocking a side street with the metal cages, making it dangerous for people to get past. Manager doesn’t care. If they leave things so dangerous in plain view, imagine how bad their hygiene behind the scenes must be! Head office know about the cages, so if you trip on them they’ve been negligent. Get a claim stuck in!
This store is not the best store going. Some security guard is abit rude and angry and everytime I call in this store he seems abit angry sometimes and I do feel quite uncomfortable when I call in this store and I have earning difficulties too. Also some staff can be rude but some are alright too

It is 7 am in the morning. Today is 8th of march. When i ask for coffee cups their answer was “"The coffee cup will not arrive today". Honestly this is not first time. I came last week aswell it was 8-9 pm and there was no milk in machine. Noone take responsibility in this shop. @tesco why you keep open this shop then?

The tesco on great Hall Street is a lot better. Fix the beer fridge ffs it's been broken for months. False advertising to have a shelf dressed up like a fridge.
Apart of the fact that there’s always items missing, so you go looking for one thing and walk with another cause you just out of options, staff are a bit useless, spend bout 20min wondering around the store catching items in a basket, and in my way to the check out get told by a employee that tills are off signal, so they are closed, when we questioned why they didn’t let us know at the entrance since they have a “security” over there, the employee said he didn’t even know there were people inside, seems like someone skipped their training in hospitality, I told him there was a bunch of guys on the other section as well just so they didn’t hang around for another half hour till staff realise, now in a hypothetical case if someone walks in with the intention to harm staff, they wouldn’t even be aware of, since they spend more time joking with each other and in their AirPods than actually working. Plus the fact that there is clearly no communication going on, I don’t blame at all the security because the employees where restocking right in front of the door and could have let him know the tills issue, very upsetting as we were running to get some items for dinner, and lost time, we even tried to go to the other Tesco but didn’t get there on time, and since there’s no 24/hr supermarkets near by we just left in blank. With dinner half way. :)
1 Star is 1 too many to be honest. Needed an item to be approved by the duty manager Craig - waited 10 minutes until he finally sauntered over. I only waited to have the satisfaction of telling him I now wouldn't buy it because of his ineptitude.
Worst Tesco branch ever. For a year now no regular pastries, last two months nothing at all - they makes excuses about a chef being off sick or that there is a leak. There is absolutely no stock - half empty - other Tesco express are fully stocked so can’t blame it on Brexit, Covid, cats death and so on. Approached the manager as well - he doesn’t seem to care.
