Didn't stay the night, just had drinks in bar. Very basic but friendly and a good local. Great beer garden and play area for kids
Nice friendly pub land lord and land lady so polite and the staff is too the garden is so well maintained a few mole hills but what do you expect when your made so welcome

Wonderful welcoming staff. I will always have fond memories. I would frequent this Public House with my Grandad Alwyne Drury and no doubt will still pop in from time to time even though I live a considerable distance.
Sunday night free quiz, £1 bottle top playing card bingo, sandwiches, black pudding, bread and dripping, Turner's of Jump pork pies! Warm, good natured company. What's not to like?
