I've had more compliments than I've ever had on the nails I get done at the Nail Box. There is a great loyalty scheme and always a calm and friendly atmosphere. I love the service I love the nails and highly recommend!
I had gel builder with tips done and they didnt even last 7 days before 3 of my nails started peeling. Wasnt worth the £45. Sadly wont be going back here

I was charged £45 for a biab set! Since they take cash only, I brought £30 (+ a £5 gift voucher), which I thought would be plenty as I seem to recall on a price list I was given that biab is £30. However I got to the end of my appointment and was told £45 for a biab set. I just had a french manicure, so all that was added to the builder gel was a white tip, no designs. Since there are no price lists visible in the shop I did pay, however upon speaking with other people who have been here, they have only ever paid around the £30 mark, and they have mentioned that prices have always been slightly different every time they come. My nails look nice however I would not have gone ahead if I knew the price - so perhaps in hindsight this is something I should have confirmed beforehand. I have had a set of gel nails from here (£25) previously which chipped after only a few days so I went ahead with biab is I was under the impression that there wasn’t a huge price difference. Will not be coming back.
I have had many manicures and have always enjoyed the relaxing experience. However today I went to the Nail Box for the first time, being convenientl and I could just walk in without an appt. However on choosing my colour I felt rushed even though they were not very busy! I had a young man doing my manicure who was constantly sniffing under his mask which under current circumstances made me feel slightly uneasy. Whilst using the nail gel removal machine I felt again that this was being rushed unlike my other manicure experiences it felt quite rough, low and behold a small piece of my skin was shaved off , he did apologise but by this time I quite honestly just wanted to get out of there my finger was bleeding albeit a little but that is not the point. The only positive is that the colour was nice but when I pointed out that some of the varnish had splattered up my finger he just replied that it would come off when I washed my hands!!! Another thing that really irritated me was that he had his mobile placed where he kept looking at it whilst doing my manicure. Quite honestly the worst nail experience I have ever had, and to add to this dreadful experience is that my finger is very sore. NEVER AGAIN

I rarely leave reviews but I just had one of the best manicures with Anne. She was so thorough and took so much care. My nails look amazing, thank you Ann!!
Usually the best nail shop the man and lady owners who are usually there are great, But last week I got a fresh full set of acrylic nails an I have lost 3 within 7 days- they just peeled off. It was by the new man I have never seen before not sure if he was just an xmas temp .. would recommend waiting for the normal man and lady.
