Ow. The male nail tech was fast, and while it impressed me, it made me incredibly nervous because this almost always leads to a rushed nail job. While I can give credit that he is fast and efficient, it was very clearly rushed, like he was strapped for time. He was incredibly harsh with everything, including the drill. When he went under the nail, he went so rough he caused my skin under the nail to BLEED. I understand mistakes happen, and I am usually very understanding if a nail artist slips up, as usually, they realise they need to take their time and be more careful, but he continued rushing just like before. I was also worried at the hygiene state since there was a bunch of nail dust everywhere, and I don't think anything was wiped from one customer to the next. The man only offered ONE chrome powder for my nail, which surprised me, and it ended up looking completely different from the inspiration picture, so we took that off and left it Vampire Bite red. Usually you would have more variety in other salons. When the right middle finger bumped inside the nail lamp and came out ribbed, I was concerned he'd gloss over it, which he did (and to be fair, it's not that noticeable). My hands still have nail polish on the skin and looks rushed on my right hand. I came out peeling off bits off polish off of my skin. I think £49 would have been fine, although a little too pricey when I can get this cheaper abroad and with a better service. Please, for future reference, it's always better if your nails take longer. My previous nail set broke sooner than expected, and I had to book a salon because of time constraints. I'm praying I don't get an infection or a greenie. It's always better private

If I could give 0 stars I would. I visited this nail salon for the first time last month, to get my acrylics removed. During the removal I complained to the nail artist that one of my nails was really painful when she was putting it in the removal solution. She just told me to keep that one out of the solution and continued on my nails. After I left the salon, I realised why it was so painful was because she had actually drilled through my natural nail, into my flesh. A month on, and my nails still have not recovered from the acrylic removal. I still have pieces of acrylic chipping off that she didn’t remove properly, I have dents in my nails and the nail she drilled all the way through is painful and still has not healed. It’s an absolute disgrace to put your trust into a professional to have such a terrible long lasting result. The woman definitely rushed the service and I could have removed them better myself. I used this salon for removal as it was convenient at the time but I will never be returning and I would not recommend anyone to use this salon. For such a simple procedure, I’m completely mortified with the result.

I had a great experience today at Princess Nails Wimbledon. Despite arriving slightly late, they were very accommodating and welcomed me warmly. Special thanks to Ana from Poland, who truly made the visit exceptional. She offered me a delicious cup of coffee and kept a friendly and pleasant conversation throughout. Ana was not only kind but also extremely professional. She helped me choose the perfect base colour to complement my main pedicure shade and gave me useful advice on nail shape, explaining how square vs. round can affect ingrown nails. She clearly knows her craft well, and I really appreciated her thoughtful guidance and attention to detail. I was very happy with the final result and will definitely return when I have the chance. Highly recommend!

I visited this nail salon several years ago, and at that time, it was a reputable establishment. However, it has not been conveniently located since then. Recently, I chose to return to the salon to have my toenails done, and I was pleased with the outcome.

Very rude. Completely unprofessional. Highly recommend not to go here. The male manager is quiet rude. He Dosent even help in anything. He acts as in he is doing a favour for doing our nails. We pay for it and we don’t even get the required service. I called them saying my nail broke. He is saying you should be careful.. its just been 5 days and my nail broke. And on the call he says if you don’t like it you can go somewhere else? I mean what kind of service is this?. There are better places out there. I am Never coming to this place.

I’ve tried many nail places in Wimbledon, this is by far the best place. The nails are really good quality and last a lot longer than others I’ve had. I usually have Timmy do my nails and he always makes sure they are perfect. The prices are good for the area as well. Would highly recommend

My recent visit to this nail salon has left me not wanting to step foot into this place again. As other reviewers have stated, the male owner lacks customer service skills and has a short temper which in my view makes him unfit to be managing a store. You are left to feel like he’s doing you a favour in doing your nails when in fact it’s a service that the customer is paying for. I have had my nails done by him previously and have not experienced anything like what I experienced the last time I visited. If he was having a bad day he should have chosen not to work rather than passing that negative energy onto others however based on other reviews it seems this is a reoccurring trend and he is rude and abrupt with many people. I’d suggest avoiding this place - there are much better options available where your money is better spent.
