   Had an excellent experience with Paul Jewell the group buyer. Sold my car to them and the service provided by Paul was faultless - he was very professional, courteous and made the process very smooth. He even kept me up to date via email with the final aspects as I had to leave halfway for work and made sure I got to my destination safely as I was without a car. He definitely deserves a raise (or at least a Christmas bonus!) for being an asset to your company.

   Outstanding Service from Halliwell Jones Chester BMW I contacted Halliwell Jones Chester BMW after my BMW developed some mechanical issues. While browsing the Approved Used cars, I spoke with Michael Pinto, who honestly could not have been more helpful from start to finish. I explained that I needed a replacement car urgently. I was initially advised that the delivery timeframe would be around five weeks; however, Michael went above and beyond expectations and quite literally worked some magic. I paid my deposit on the Thursday, and by the following Thursday the new car was delivered to my home, with my old car collected at the same time. Throughout the entire transaction, the process was completely seamless. Michael kept me fully informed at every stage, providing regular updates and ensuring there were no surprises. To make things even more impressive, the car I chose wasn’t even physically at the dealership at the time, which made the logistics far more challenging - yet this didn’t slow things down in the slightest. Michael delivered an exceptional level of customer service, and David also played a key role in making everything run smoothly. The end result was an outstanding buying experience and a fantastic car. A 5-star review for a 5-star sales team. Thank you both for your help - you were absolutely fantastic.

   My vehicle was recently with Halliwell Jones for two safety recalls, EGR and the driver airbag. From the start they were friendly, informative and they arranged a courtesy vehicle for me for the two days they needed my vehicle. Mike was very helpful and even sat with me on a short drive in the courtesy vehicle due to it being an automatic which I wasn't particularly confident in driving. I dealt with another Mike when I collected my vehicle and he was equally as friendly. My vehicle had been cleaned both inside and out when I collected it which is no easy task! I was very impressed with the service I received from Halliwell Jones and felt that they went above and beyond in making the recalls as smooth as possible.

   We visited the showroom quite late to view the new shape one series, we’d had a bad experience at the dealership and ended up buying a car from BMW Crewe so we went in there with low expectations. However Christopher completely changed our opinion of the dealership, he was so helpful and attentive and took time to detail what was different from the existing one series we already have. We arranged a test drive for that weekend and when we got back he went through all the options and really listened to what we wanted. Unfortunately we decided the car was not for us as we didn’t like the updated infotainment system and the lag when accelerating. Had we loved the car we’d of done a deal with Christopher, he’s a credit to the showroom and the brand!

   I have bad experience like others with this dealership. Car went in for replacing new alloy wheel, that was 2 weeks ago, promise it’s going to be repaired by 22nd Feb, rang them a day before. Joe told me the part has gone missing, he will have to reorder again! Manager rang back told me the same thing. Not recommended this dealer, ask them questions, all they did just fab me off. I have no idea when are they going to repair my car. If you are not enjoying what you do, you shouldn’t be there at the first place!

   Our experience with Peter Moorhouse at Halliwell Jones Chester was excellent from start to finish. We initially found the car on the BMW website and we’re lucky enough to get through to Peter on the phone. I never understood how it would work buying a car when we hadn’t physically seen it but Peter sent us a very in depth video and was there to communicate every step of the way no matter how small my questions were. We drove 4.5 hours to collect the car and Peter was there waiting for us. He had made contact prior to us picking up the car to put everything in place so we were all ready to go, however I expressed I was slightly anxious for the drive home having never drove an automatic and Peter never hesitated to take me out in the car and sat beside me talking me through everything in the car. Peter made the whole experience enjoyable and stress free, there isn’t a better man for the job.

   Booked my BMW R1200GS motorcycle in for a service and MOT at short notice, and was fitted in nicely, also was informed it was on the list for a shaft drive service upgrade (recall), all work carried out efficiently, by Alex, and they even loaned me a bike to get home on while it was in for the work, well done to the guys and girls on the reception desk as well. Next year will be the turn of my R1200RS, at service and MOT time, see you then. Great experience.
