   I have been going to Hollywood star Nails for over a decade now, I lived in Bethnal Green for 24 years and even though I moved out of the area 7 years ago, I still make the journey to go down there as I am loyal to places I like. Yesterday I called to book an appointment with Mimi to take off gel and for a pedicure with no colour. My regular routine is that I get a gel manicure and pedicure done and around 10 days later I return to have it removed and have another pedicure/manicure but with no polish. As I attempted to book it in the man who spoke to me was not fully understanding what I wanted, I explained a few times but in the end he just booked me in for my requested time and said that’s fine. He was snappy on the phone and a little rude but I overlooked it as I was going to see mimi anyway and he wasn’t going to be the one taking care of me in the shop. I got there 20 minutes before my appointment time and explained that I was a little early, I’m always happy to wait until my scheduled time whenever I’m early. They had no problem with it and mimi was able to see me straight away which I appreciated. (I will say Mimi is always very polite and always puts in her time and effort with me which I appreciate and make sure to leave a tip to express my gratitude.) Whilst getting my nails done, the man who answered my call had received another call from a potential customer that wondered if they could slot her in, he said no they’re fully booked and hung up. After hanging up he explained to his current client, that he doesn’t like people just calling up and asking if they can be seen straight away, I guess this conversation triggered him to start speaking about me to Mimi but in another language (clearly assuming I couldn’t understand what he was saying). He was speaking in a very raised voice saying I booked a manicure/pedicure with shellac and now I’m saying something else. I didn’t say anything since I’m not a confrontational person and he wasn’t saying anything directly to me. This conversation made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately this experience has completely put me off wanting to return to Hollywood star nails. To be so rude and snappy with a loyal customer who never complains, is always polite and always tips is ridiculous. Their poor customer service has really let them down.

   Went to get my nails done for the first time. The nails fell off a week later: went back to get it redone the guy was soo rude to me and told me to sit down…. Then said I would have to wait till 5pm cus they were “fully booked” didn’t do the nail properly it fell off again and two of my nail split in half under the acrylic; I went to a different place to get them taken off and I was in soo much pain the lady couldn’t remove them. I’ve been doing my nails for YEARS and I’ve never had such a horrible experience. I literally had to glue my nails together in the hopes they grow back quickly If you want to keep your nails DO NOT GO HERE: THEY ARE HORRIBLE (pics below)

   My first time at this place and have to say it was great. I will defo go back. I went for the manicure and pedicure without colour. The service was great. They asked if I wanted male or female. The lady was great as she didn’t rush the pedicure or the manicure as some places do. Highly recommend this place and it’s better to call and book as they get quite busy. Affordable prices too both mani & pedi was £40 which was good compared to other places.

   I’ve tried all the nail salons around roman road and Bethnal Green and this salon is the best out of them all! They do exactly what you ask for they never rush and work to perfection. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and don’t make you uncomfortable like most nail salons. So happy I tried this nail salon always happy with my nails every time I visit!

   Loved how Sara did my pedicure here! Really took her time and was very friendly. They Made me feel welcome. One of the best pedicures iv had!!! I asked for a women to do my Pedicure and they made sure to fulfill my request. The place is very clean and they make sure to sterilise their equipments. I would definitely recommend this place!

   Decent place in Bethnal Green with good prices and good quality nails! Did acrylic extensions and then went in for a refill in Shellac and was happy with the end result both times. Was served by the owner of the place as well as a lady the second time and they were professional, although not particularly talkative. It can be a bit intimidating them speaking in Vietnamese between them, and I was never fully comfortable while being served. Update: I decided to stop going here. In my last visit, the lady that served me didn't understand what I was saying when I asked for her advice and started kind of laughing and making fun of my indecision instead of helping me given that she is the professional (hence why I asked her advice). I was almost sure she then started talking about me with her colleague and I felt so uncomfortable and stressed. So, unless you are sure of what you want to get done, I wouldn't go there. Costumer service could definitely improve.

   Excellent customer service, friendly staff, Hannah who did my nails was absolutely amazing been doing my nails for years and she is one of the most talented, pacient and precise nail tech. My manicure was amazing and took her time with my cuticles. The shellac french tip was so accurate and she listened to my requests and colour changes until we found the perfect colour. The aftercare hand massage and warm towel was a treat at the end and she really cared about her work she was happy when the customer was happy and I really appreciated it. I will definitely be back, shellac manicure was £30. The other guys in the shop were really friendly too D and some other man and they were talking to their customers and listening to their requests. I wouldn’t hesitate to come here one of the best salons in East London! Thank you so much for my nails I love them so much and it’s the first time I thought WOW!

   Love this nail shop, so clean and tidy. All the workers arw so friendly and chatty and the owner is so lovely. Always helpful. Always a nice atmosphere. Ive been going here for over a year and wont go anywhere else. The staff are great and the cleanliness is spot on!
