Honestly the worst salon experience I have ever had 1 star is being polite. The older man doing my nails was incredibly rude. I told him to add a little more acrylic as the nails were extremely thin around the cuticle area and extremely thick on the tip however all he was doing was complaining about how “that’s the the way he does it” and how I should do it myself instead of telling him what to do, they continued to talk and laugh looking directly at me. I also asked him to push my cuticles back after he prepped the nails as he didn’t do it before and he said he did it with the electric file. I said can u do it properly with a cuticle pusher. He then brought out the electric file to push them back again and said “if you bleed it not my fault” Save your money. Go to @sillasserenity on insta instead.
Efficient services for all treatments, good selection of colours and options! Can describe what you want and they will do well! Friendly staff and really good prices! Sometimes quite busy, but probably because they provide a good service!
DO NOT GO HERE. UNSAFE FOR WOMAN. I always used to go to this place.. recently I felt the male staff were slightly unprofessional and made me uncomfortable (creepy). Mostly I brush it off as usually the place is filled with woman and due to that I feel safe. Tonight I had an apt booked for 8.15pm .. I arrived and there is two male staff doing nails with 2 ladies. I sit in the pedicure footpath for half an hour watching netflix. Both the ladies get up to leave and the male staff start looking at me funny and talking different. Out of turn, never before acting like this.. 'you can stay over tonight with him', 'where do you live', 'You live nearby'.. ' do you live alone?' I thought HELL NO called my mum grabbed my stuff and left... so so ashamed of these guys .. I used to always use that nail salon.. I wondered if I over reacted but I checked over reviews and I made the right choice.
DO NOT GO HERE. I’ve been getting my nails done here for a while, and I will say the women there do an amazing job, HOWEVER after going the other day, a man did my nails and he made me feel so uncomfortable, I will never be going again. He asked me disgusting and inappropriate questions, asked to take pictures of my “tattoos” then tried to touch my stomach. He begged me to take photos of my leg tattoos. It was a really awful and uncomfortable position to be in. I can’t say enough, do not go, and if you do ask to only be seen by one of the women. Because I’ve heard of him doing this to other women.
1 star for very poor customer service received today which is a shame as previous visits service were good. I had an appt for 2.30pm but called to say if it was possible to come early (around 1.30pm) for my appt and the guy on the phone agreed that he is free. When I got there (after 3mins) he said that I would have to wait 30mins. He rudely responded with 'it takes time' to my response of 'you said you would be free in 5 mins on the phone'. His tone was rude, Ive never seen this worker here before and I will not be returning due to inconveniencing me and blatantly lying to me saying he was free WHEN HE WAS NOT. 0 star if I could.
I got ombré on my nails last week and I will never come back. The nails turned out fine visually, but the place is SO DIRTY and I got an infection on my thumbnail!! All their work benches are COVERED in nails and dust from previous clients. They don’t lay down a towel on the bench to cover it up, but instead just put a towel on their own laps, so you have to lean on the nail cut offs from strangers. The tools are NOT CLEAN. They all sit in this little container on the work bench, and none of them are in sealed packages, meaning they are not sterilised between clients. At one point my technician knocked over all the tools so they went spilling out across the dirty bench, and he just shoved them all back in and kept working. My thumbnail immediately flared up the moment I left the salon. It went swollen and red, and was extremely painful. I had to apply antiseptic cream for three days and it’s still not totally healed. I always get my nails done and I’ve never had an infection before now. I’ll never ever come back to this place. It’s so dirty.
