   They state they have a money exchange booth in store. I have been in on 3 separate occasions at different times and it's closed. I wouldn't bother wasting your time trying here.

   I visited Asda on 19.02.2023 and whilst checking out at the basket self check out, i was stopped very rudely by a staff member asking my recieot for proof of purchase for two trays of eggs. I was absolutely appauled at how humiliated i was made to feel. The self chceckouts ask if you want a receipt to which i answered no. I always answer ‘no’ to a receipt as it is a waste of paper. I had to take my phone out and show the staff member my online banking for proof my purchase. I am horrified and felt discriminated against. This is not acceptable and i strongly suggest the store manager has words with the staff at the time who questioned me. I questioned why the staff member suspected i was stealing to which she responded she has not seen my receipt?? So why then is it the machine asks if you want a receipt? Very humiliated and appauled at my treatment and i will not be attending this store. Horrified and embarassing.

   Seems an overall poorly stocked store, shelve are more often than not bare with stock, pizza counter usually closing earlier despite a huge sign showing the opening and closing times to be told by the guy “it’s an old sign” yet it’s still up there, not great when you call on your way home 30 minutes before it’s due to close to find it’s already closed earlier.

   Check out staff are helpful and professional. Staffing at the service counter at busy times needs to be improved, frustrating when one employee is serving and another socially chatting with the same customer and five people waiting on a number of visits. Another issue is customers paying for basketfuls of groceries when there are other means for purchasing such available. Frustrating when you need assistance at the trolley and/or basket facility and three or four "Happy to help" staff members are not focused on their job in hand. I don't expect a response to what is a negative review based on my experiences of more than ten visits.
