   I love the interior for the most part . Had issues with mould in washing machine at the start even though we were told the flat was cleaned. Had issues with security guard whistling at us . And they advertise free wifi which sounds great but little did we know the wifi connection is at most times terrible . So our tv rarely has a connection . You can pay for an upgrade with the wifi but it seems like it’s a forced pay as the wifi was bad in the first place . The blinds don’t give the greates privacy and there’s no blinds in the kitchen I do understand why (prevent mould) but it’s not great for privacy . The delivery system isn’t great here as you can’t buzz your couriers in through both doors just the first one (which kind of makes the whole buzzing people in pointless as you will still have to come down and let them in ). If there was a full time receptionist that could let them in that would solve the situation and keep your deliveries safe. Most staff have been friendly especially the maintenance guy . The price and location is good for money as well . Limited parking for residents and quite extortionate in my opinion . Also think ahead when moving in as they don’t allow moving vans temporarily in the parking lot which created loads of issues for me as moving guys need to be a certain distance to the building . So moving is really inconvenient as again there’s not guaranteed parking around / near the building

   From Start to Finish the team at MAF have answered every question and aided in any requests with the flat the quickest I've seen. The property was well managed, fairly priced and a great experience overall. Sadly my time in Sheffield's come to an end but if I was to do it again I would choose MAF. Big thanks

   I stayed with them at Devonshire Point from July 2021 until June 2023. Their staff are very helpful and properties are comfortable and pleasant. Any issues are resolved quickly and smartly. A great choice for small groups (3 to 4) of students in Sheffield.

   Rented with MAF for three years in two different properties - both were great and I never had any issues with them, or the staff, who were always helpful and friendly. Anytime something needed repairing it was done quickly by an equally friendly maintenance man. Had deposits returned both times and they were very accommodating of the shift between flats, allowing us to extend our tenancy so we could move things over without excess travel. Would recommend :)

   EDIT: Reviewing on behalf of a partner who lived with MAF. These are great people to live with if you want to hate every minute of your time attempting to interact with their customer service, and having entirely would be illegal to enforce clauses in tenancy agreements. Not being allowed to have overnight guests without written consent was a personal favourite (violation of the UK right to quiet enjoyment), especially coupled with the final clause stating that anything found to be unlawful in their contract is basically void. I.e.: they know about their shady contract and refuse to do anything about it. Would recommend everyone look to people actually competent for their uni accommodation. :)

   Update- reply back to MAF- we wrote on the inventory about the clumps of hair on the floor in the bedroom, and white stains on the floor. As well as the bath, I emailed and was told it would be sorted- it was never sorted. As well as this I’ve remembered waking up one morning to a painter opening the flat, and I hadn’t received an email prior to tell me someone was going to enter the flat at 10am. The whole thing was one sided on both parties, I wasn’t in contact with my house mate and anything you discussed to them wasn’t relayed back to me. Also I would like to know how we left the flat in an unclean condition? The only thing that could have been seen as unclean was the carpets because the hoover has absolutely no power to it and hardly works. Only lived here a month. MAF didn’t tell me there was a £50 charge for the tenancy takeover which was frustrating. Also when I first moved in it definitely hadn’t been deep cleaned and was clumps of hair on the carpet. The bath plug didn’t work and I emailed, but still wasn’t fixed by the time I left. Very disappointing I was paying for a flat where I couldn’t even use the bath. I also requested a dining room table which also never came. Would be less hassle and cleaner to live elsewhere

   Maf properties is the best accommodation agency in Sheffield. I lived at Wilkinson Street when I was student and I’m now living with my friends in one of their apartments at Devonshire Point. I work in Sheffield City Centre so it’s a convenient place to live. The flat is beautiful, modern and spacious and it’s a really high standard for the price.

   I would recommend MAF properties to anyone looking for a beautiful place to call home in Sheffield. Student friendly. After three years living in Sheffield I had never come across such a clean and nice house. The price wasn’t higher than other properties I lived in or visited but it was for sure the best one! The walls were freshly painted when we moved in and the house was so clean! MAF have been great with any issues we’ve had in the house and would come help us straight away. They have a super friendly team and are always here to help. Thank you for making my student experience here so great! I have great memories in their property and it’s going to be hard to leave! Best landlords in town!
