I stayed with Sevenhills for 2 years and had a great time. Our property was nicely decorated and the sevenhills team were friendly and responsive to any issues we had.
I had a good experience living here for 2 years. The house was big and comfortable, with a nice large sofa and TV in the living room space. The location was good as it was close to Tesco and a 15 min walk from uni. Sevenhills was friendly, and easy to communicate with.

Stayed a year in Flat G, Hudson House from 2023-24. The flat is lovely and the landlords have been relatively quick to fix any problems with minimal fuss. It is very useful to have their office downstairs so they are easily reachable if any issues arise.
They are trying to take the deposit through charges for re-letting the property out, for example, "photoshoot" for their pictures which my husband offered to take anyway, and charges for making up new tenancy documents, this is illegal. This has gone along with lots of other little things we've just ignored throughout our tenancy, but until getting the invoice havent felt angry enough to do anything about. The fact they've even tried charging for these things shows them to be totally unprofessional.
I lived in one of Sevenhills' Properties from 2019-2020, Flat E 9 Newbould Lane and I can't praise the agents of the property enough. I'm usually very fussy about my space and the quality of the flat and service was outstanding - a newly renovated kitchen with a modern but authentic vibe and well kept rooms, bright rooms. My room was even painted for me by Ian, after I commented that the existing paint job was becoming outdated. I was ALWAYS informed at least 24 hours prior to someone wanting to enter my property and Simona, our agent, was always kind, understanding and excellent at responding quickly to any of my queries. Simona was patient and understanding, a complete contrast to my usual experience with detached student landlords I couldn't praise Sevenhills Estates enough, and I would still be living there if I hadn't graduated! (I still dream about that gorgeous kitchen)...
I stayed in a studio for 2 years near campus and I have to say I enjoyed my stay. There was an issue with my boiler that seemed to leak every now and again. The staff called both the company and their own mechanic to sort it out. It took several months to figure out the issue but in the end everything was good! The staff I've encountered were friendly and at my disposal throughout my time here. My landlady was flexible and understanding with all my own issues and she even improved my accomodation by adding new furniture (new table, new wardrobe etc) and she has plans for removing the carpet and making the place alot more welcoming than it already is. I wish I stayed for another year but I'm graduating now (maybe in the future when I do a masters) I've just read some bad reviews so I'd recommend getting to know the area and the landlady/landlord before applying. But for my case I definitely had a good time!
I have stayed in Hudson house (6 person) flat G and have to say it's the best student house we stayed in. Everything got fixed as soon as it was reported and they clearly care about making sure the flat they own are up to date and comfortable to live in. At the start of the tenancy they replaced all the bed room furniture and carpet around the flat making it feel new and homely. Big shame I couldn't stay there another year. The staff are all really nice and friendly and I really recommend the flats in Hudson house.
STAY AWAY! Rented from them for a year, had issues throughout the tenancy involving: - filthy condition of property on move in day that was never cleaned - longstanding maintenance neglects by the landlord - occasions where the landlord would enter the property unannounced - instances where the landlord would be extremely rude and scold me and my flatmates over the broken washing machine, an obvious attempt to bully first time renting students - extremely rude emails targeting me personally - tenancy contract with unfair clauses trying to scam you out of money (e.g. trying to make the tenants pay for the electricity used by their staff in their office and for work on a garden we had no access to and which obviously had not actually had any work on) - waited 6 months for an inventory despite several emails asking for it - constant power cuts within the house - disruptive maintenance work throughout the year which left us without a working kitchen for over a month - wrongly tried to claim £200 worth of our deposit which we had to fight for back via a deposit scheme (successfully) - had similar issues with other students in the past (known to Sheffield University Students Union) - attempts to get their google rating back up by claiming other poor reviews are "fake" and getting family members (Marius Huhn) to give 5 star ratings - overall a poor company centred around extorting and bullying students Edit: the reply proves my point
