Cineworld Sheffield is always a great place to watch a film. The cinema is clean, comfortable, and well organised, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and everything runs smoothly, from tickets to refreshments. It’s a relaxed, reliable cinema where you can just sit back and enjoy the movie. Highly recommend for a great night out.

My first time in IMAX 3D. What an experience! Friendly staff, comfy seats. Plenty of restaurants next to the cinema. Free carpark.

I’ve visited this cinema many times in the past and always had positive experiences, but today was genuinely awful. I accidentally booked tickets for the wrong day (or possibly due to a booking glitch—as my Apple Wallet showed a completely different date). When I realised, I tried contacting Cineworld, only to find no direct phone number and an automated email response saying no refunds for guest checkouts and that they must be contacted within 2 hours—which is impossible when the booking was made 5 minutes before the showing(?!) . We then booked the correct tickets for the next day, hoping staff could help in person. The initial staff member was polite admitting however it was out of their remit, but the manager who came over was abrupt, dismissive, and completely unwilling to investigate or even look at the booking details. He repeated the same line— “go through the website, nothing to do with us”— and even compared it to missing a live gig(?!) Even live gigs have a refund policy particularly in extenuated circumstances. At no point did he ask for booking details or try to genuinely help until I insisted and showed the contradictory dates. Only then, and very begrudgingly, he refunded the tickets for the correct showing, making it clear he “shouldn’t be doing this” and wouldn’t do it again. My response was “you won’t need too, after this screening as I doubt I’d return”. Even after this response he proceeded to argue, “I’m doing a nice thing” despite me empathising his only valid point of ‘I don’t make the rules… it’s company policy’. Despite this their attitude felt condescending, unprofessional, and unnecessarily confrontational over what could have been resolved in multiple different ways if they attempted a conversation. Felt like a complete embarrassing dressing down over what, I’m still not sure was an innocent mistake on mine or the websites part. The whole situation completely soured what should have been an enjoyable visit. If this is Cineworld’s idea of customer care, rigid policies, no direct support, and managers who seem irritated that customers ask for help, I genuinely don’t see myself returning.

Been coming to this cinema for many many years. Never had a worst staff experience than today. Got my usual popcorn and drink order, bit of popcorn got spilled by the server so when he came back I asked politely for it to be topped up (as we all know popcorn is very very cheap but very expensive in a cinema). The server, I didn't catch his name, immediately said he's not allowed to do that he will get the team leader and accused me of patting it down to fit more in... Kept just saying he'll go get the manager and that they can't do it because of stock take... Counting each corn now? I just stood there dumbfounded and eventually had to walk off with my half filled popcorn in disbelief.

Big cinema with lots of movies to choose from with a variety of showing times. I watched Mission Impossible - The final reckoning on the huge IMAX screen. It was amazing. Great sound and huge screen. Have been back recently to see Jurassic World Rebirth. Car park is large with plenty of spaces. It feels very modern and clean. The prices for popcorn and drinks are just too expensive!

After seeing this experience on TikTok it had to be tried and it did not disappoint.. don’t let the £32 price tag put you off, the VIP entrance takes you into your own private lounge area with unlimited hot food for 45mins before the film we had a choice of pizza, pasta and noodles a salad bar and soup with rolls, unlimited soda or coffee then after you’ve eaten the screen is opened and your free to grab your snacks! Popcorn, nachos with salsa sour cream and cheese, cakes and biscuits, even roll over hot dogs and ice cream all of which again are unlimited the snacks remain available for 1hr after the film starts. Given that at the main desk they want £9+ for a drink and popcorn this VIP price ain’t all that bad.. the seats are excellent with leg rest and full electric recliners and your own table as well. The staff were super friendly and the whole experience was great id definitely recommend going VIP if they are showing a film you’d wanna see!

The place is always clean and tidy stuff. Always willing to help you. Seating is very comfortable and there is lots of different types of seating for you to go and see VIP large screen the 4DX screen is my best. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Food is a little bit overpriced but what do you expect it to cinema?

Good cinema, with a broad range of films to choose from. Ample parking. The only annoying thing is when you're selecting your seats on the screen it's easy to get mixed up and book tickets right at the front instead of the back and vice versa. Should be clearer.
