   The cinema itself is very nice, comfortable seats and a good screen, but there is a clear ongoing problem with audience behaviour. I have never had these issues at Light or Cineworld, it seems specific to Odeon Luxe. During Avatar, Fire and Ash, multiple people were constantly on their phones, scrolling with bright screens on, as if the sofa seating somehow makes this acceptable. Several people also arrived late with their phone torches on, shining light across rows and over people’s faces, which completely breaks immersion. I felt extremely uncomfortable after politely asking the person next to me to stop using their phone and being met with a barrage of abuse. Tickets are expensive for such a poor experience. I spoke to security afterwards and while they apologised, nothing was actually done. This cinema really needs to enforce basic rules, including stopping late entry after the film has started. I will not be returning.

   Online booking is awful. Unable to select 4 family seats together. Couldn't choose 4 specific adjacent seats. Had to do two seperate bookings. Signed up so I could try to swap the seats - function not available. Second booking showed the seats I'd just booked as still available. No phone support - hangs up after recorded message. We're now sitting in seperate seats for a family trip.

   Overall decent cinema. Screens are really small and not the best quality and the tickets are a little overpriced but the seats are very spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly and check everyone for their tickets on arrival to make sure no one is coming in up to no good, so you feel very safe. Shoutout to the young East Asian girl working on the door checking tickets, very kind and polite!

   Prices are expensive but that's UK aye, good seating areas provided, although the staff came in to warn a few customers (chinese students) to not film using their mobile phones, but if they understood that the students just record 10 second snippets to post on wechat moments so their friends back in china can see their day-to-day life they perhaps could understand the situation and not waste the time and effort to walk over to them; it kinda ruins the movie experience for other customers such as myself who may get distracted by a staff member shining a bright light into the row of customers. Overall I can see the 'potential' perfect experience of watching a film in this cinema.

   Firstly, I would like to say that I’ve been coming to this cinema for approximately 20 years and I think they’ve done a fabulous job with the refurbishment which really gives it that VIP feel without the VIP price. Unfortunately, I would like to bring to light an incident which occurred whilst watching the film plane on Friday 27th January in screen 7 at 6pm. The first half of the film was really thrilling and engaging. There was a specific violent scene in the film in which I naturally reacted to you. I was then rudely told by the person next to me to “shut up” in a very aggressive tone. He then stated that he worked at the cinema and was currently off duty and knew everyone that worked there and would get me kicked out immediately. I was then confronted with a manager and a member of staff called Mia and Beth. Mia, was particularly rude to begin with and automatically assumed I was in the wrong without hearing my side of the story. They also refused to give me the staff members name. There is nothing wrong with reacting to certain scenes, for example: laughing at a funny scene, jumping at a scary scene. I would like to place a formal complaint against this member of staff, think this particular member of staff would benefit from further training. I think he should also be aware that he isn’t superior to anyone else just because he works there. Given the sensitive nature of this, I will be taking this further and reporting this to Head Office and speaking with the manager Luke.

   I recently visited the Odeon Luxe Sheffield and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The theater itself was spacious and comfortable, with great sound and picture quality.

   Went today for the first time in a while and couldn't believe the ticket price - £18.50 each for a standard ticket to a 2D film, no frills! My partner nearly had a heart attack! The seats are comfortable and recline but in my opinion that doesnt warrant the price hike level. Definitely won't be our cinema of choice in Sheffield going forward. The staff behind the counter were very apologetic and understanding of our shock when we were told the price, feel sorry for them as I'm sure they are faced with shocked customers a lot! Management should really consider their pricing as people will go elsewhere, it was a Friday evening and like a ghost town - not what you expect for a cinema in the middle of the city.
