EXTREMELY Very very poor customer service. I went to do an infill and feet. They don't greet you when you come in or say thank you and bye. They sit here like they don't want to be there at all. On top of that, they cut my nails shorter which is fine but he was so rude to me and had attitude when I raised it to him. I thought I would try a new nail shop as it's near my work out of convenience but I will never be doing that again and sticking to my usual place because the people at Essex nails are so rude and I have never had this experience before at a nail shop. BAD ENERGY. Do not go here, would not reccomend for the experience or communication.

Very poor customer service. Tried to cancel my appointment today as I had rescheduled for Saturday morning as I had more time and wanted an additional pedicure. I did give over an hour notice. Got told I should of paid in advance even though they ask for cash only. I've used this place for quite a few years and from October have had 3 visits and spent over £140 & was going to spend propably £70 + more Saturday. Also got accused of a no show in June which was factually incorrect as I was running late and received a call from them and I made the appointments 30 minutes later. A servere lack of customer service and obviously not wanting the business. Very disappointed to say the least.

Best pedicure in Islington! I've tried many of the beauty saloons in Islington and for pedicure and manicure this is the best one - nowhere else are they as meticulous and thorough as at Essex Nails & Beauty, no matter who is doing the pedicure. There may be a queue but there's a good reason why - they are the best!

I travel across London every time just to get my acrylic nails done at this specific place. My nails last for months, the technicians are professional and friendly. They deserve all the recognition.

I don’t normally leave reviews on independent businesses that aren’t 100% positive but I do feel a bit disappointed about my visit yesterday. The nails I have now are good, don’t get me wrong, but they’re not at all what I wanted and I wouldn’t have got them done if they’d told me from the get go they couldn’t do them. I would’ve gone else where. I wanted an olive nail design, and chose the closest colour to olive green (which was a push), and when she put the first green coat on - after the manicure and base coat- she tried to use a different colour that was a totally different shade, like a luminous neon green. She said they didn’t have the shade I chose. There wasn’t another shade option, and after being half way through, I had to get something completely different and pay for something I didn’t want. I just wish they’d been honest at the beginning if they couldn’t do the design.

My favourite place to go for nails, very talented and fast. Even if the shop is full you won’t be waiting long to be seen because every worker is fast and talented. They really do everything and they do it properly. I’ve been a regular customer since 2021 and it’s never let me down. It’s very clean and always smells nice. The theme inside the shop is just the cutest. Child friendly too. Clean toilets, tea and coffee when you come in. The shop owner is the loveliest and handles everything so well, please tip her because she deserves it. We all love a hard worker!

I’ve been coming here for quite a while and I’m really happy with the end result. They always do what I ask for. Thank you

I wasted 50 pounds on one of the worst mani pedi experience in London. My feet are sloppy, nails left sharp, one toenail completely lifted and hacked so badly I am going to have to get another pedi to fix their mistake 2 days later. My manicure polish was not finished properly, and after an hour the polish was still malleable and fully puckered - not sure what she topped it off with. My nails were not filed properly and were catching on my clothes. But worst of all was the rudeness - they actually snap back at you. Especially the male employee. I've never been treated so poorly at a salon. There are other options in Angel, I suggest you go there before wasting your money as I did.

Really like this local nail bar. Got acrylics done which were well done, my eyebrows threaded and nails re-painted on another date. Have been happy with my experience and the results. I will continue using their services. Have added more beautiful results on my various visits here. Also really like the staff friendly & informative!.
