Well done on having a vegan pizza (Oneplanet sourdough margherita) that is better than domino's! It seems to be getting harder to find choices in other supermarkets. Also your plant based coleslaw is great too!
Came in today with my kids looking to do some light shopping before they go to their mums tomorrow. We stopped by the Pizza bar to ask a few questions and one of the members of staff, Jordan, noticed my little girl waiting to ask a question. Without hesitation and with a warm smile on his face he came over and answered all of her (what I believe to be) pointless questions with nearly as much enthusiasm as she had asking them. He also gave me a lot of information and insight into the Pizza bar for when I next come in to maybe get a few pizzas for myself and the kids! What a credit to the store. My only complaint and reason for not a full 5/5 review is the department did seem a little disorganised however both Jordan and his colleague, Fran (I think I heard that right) seemed to be discussing the division of tasks before we asked our questions so they were definitely in the process of reorganising everything. Overall I am blown away with these 2 young men and would like to extend my thanks to them
Staff are always friendly and helpful in this store, but today we had Russel serve us at the till. He is friendly, chatty and always makes my day when we pop in there. Seen him several times when we’ve visited and he is a real asset to the store. In a time when customer service is dying out I think he is the best! I always pop in when I’m in the area, as a preference to any of the other big supermarkets, as this type of customer service makes me a Morrisons customer, coming back for more!
Breakfast was lovely. My wife and I both had the breakfast. I had coffee she had a pot of tea... we both really enjoyed our breakfast and with the special offer on for two breakfasts and two drinks for a tenner brilliant.
Decided to have food in restaurant. The teapots were dirty really dirty. I even gave half the top a shine so maybe staff would notice. I placed my order and went to get my cutlery. This also was filthy. I kept sorting through to find clean things but non so, had to use a paper towel as no napkins to polish my own. Then I scooped all the dirty ones left and put on side. I told a member of staff that they were dirty. Then my breakfast came out. Beans were on plate first the, egg on top plus the thin toast was put on top of beans. I regularly go to chester and Ellesmere Port branch and are far better. Beans are in a ramakin, toast is thick and in a bucket with butter to put on myself. The toast at your place already had spread on of some sort and tasted terrible. Sorry will not come again.
Nice place, but their idea of price reductions is 20 to 40p of not like Tesco where a 1.25 loaf is reduced to 30 or even 25p
Staff on main tills always friendly. The deli counter staff take ages to acknowledge you , even if you’re only one there. Then when they do , they make it clear they can’t be bothered and make you feel like an inconvenience. Even worse still , when they handle your food they don’t wear gloves. One woman was washing dirty equipment in the sink then came to serve us without washing her hands and touched all the food! Absolutely appalling hygiene standards and customer service skills lacking at the deli.
My favourite supermarket on thd Wirral. Staff very helpful, tills always open and has a fish counter which is a rarity. Does tend to get busy but understand why !
