We’ve been a few times now and every time the food is unbelievable. Today we’ve had the best roast we’ve ever had. Massive portions and absolutely delicious! Thank you as ever.
Visit 2: We ate in the restaurant this time which didn’t disappoint. The service and food were impeccable and the Gyros, Spiced Lamb and pork belly were stunning. The small plate salmon and loaded fries were also excellent. Visit 1: What a great find this restaurant is. We were in the West Kirby Tap next door and the pizza kitchen was closed. The brilliant staff next door recommended we pop here and they would allow the food to be brought into the pub. We ordered the three bao bun meal, cauliflower wings, salt and pepper chicken and wontons. Each dish was fresh and delicious and come in at £30, with the takeaway discount. We ordered next door and they kindly brought it to our table in the Tap. We'll definitely pop in for a meal in the restaurant. Very impressed.
Called in for lunch with friends on a Saturday afternoon in March 2025, as a first time visitor. The place was clean and nicely laid out, and we were greeted on arrival with a friendly smile from the staff. Staff were polite and we didn’t feel rushed at any point, even though we took our time perusing the drinks and food menus, and as it wasn’t overly busy the atmosphere was relaxed and really made for a good experience. The menu offered a good choice and there were several things each of us would have had, including a vegetarian in the party. I ordered the double beefburger and a classic cocktail – neither of them disappointed: the burger was incredibly juicy and the cocktail was delicious being well made and at a good price. The other three diners also gave high praise to their food and drinks. Would highly recommend, and will definitely visit again.
Had a super lunch here today. The service was great and they took great care to ask questions about one of our party who is Gluten intolerant. The food was freshly cooked and presented superbly. Can't wait to go back and try the Sunday Roast next!
The food is on another level fresh and full of flavour the bao buns were amazing the host couldn't do enough for us I'd 100 percent recommend a visit here
Three of us had the Roast on Sunday . Pork belly and beef. Absolutely gorgeous and the gravy .. the best I’ve ever tasted. Really friendly staff and good atmosphere too Can’t wait to try the burgers next ! Thankyou
I visited with my young family for a Sunday roast after a couple.of recommendations. Definitely the best roast in west kirby and great value for money. Amazing service and overall a lovely relaxed vibe. I've had take away burgers in the past and always excellent. I cant wait to go back!
Found this place looking for dog friendly restaurants in West Kirby and I wasn't disappointed... Phoned and booked a table without an issue with a nice friendly chap who was polite and helpful. The drinks, food, venue and staff are all top notch and cannot fault any of them.. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food, which is also a bonus... Highly recommend this dog friendly place and will definitely be going back.
I was there a few days ago and the kitchen was nice enough to prepare a brunch dish for me, even if it was after brunch! The waiters were extremely nice and friendly, answering every question really quickly and kindly. I ended up there as I was looking for something to eat and most of the restaurants I had chosen were closed, I was prepared for some fast-food-type meal but got these and I loved them so much! The prices are not the lowest, but for £10-£13 you can get a five-star meal and service, also, the portion seemed small but I actually was full after meal. I will definitely be coming back, thank you so much for this experience, it was amazing!
