My daughters dad purchased a gaming computer for our daughter as a Christmas gift. We had absolutely no clue what we was doing. The gentleman was helpful in what we should get and didn't cost a fortune. Our daughter loves it. :)
I have had two repairs done here, an iPad port/charger issue back in 2021, and a replacement screen last November (2024). Both have been excellent. I've had no issues with the replacement screen whatsoever and it resolved an additional microphone issue I had that turned out to be hardware related! It may not be the cheapest service - another potential customer was moaning when I was there - but I think that's because they are doing a good job. I would trust them with any future repairs.
Very impressed with the repair service.The technician diagnosed the issue accurately, explained the problem clearly and fixed my pc faster than expected at a very fair price. My PC was quite old and needed a decently big upgrade. It needed a new motherboard, ram, cpu etc and these guys got it done for me, at a very reasonable price. My old specs didn’t allow my PC to run Windows 11, yet my new PC does, and they kindly installed it for me so it was all ready for when i collected it. Very nice staff, all round great service and will definitely be back in the future.
I recently had my laptop screen completely broken, and I took it to Microtech Computers (Ashton). Khaled provided absolutely fantastic service! Not only did he replace the screen perfectly, but he also cleaned my laptop thoroughly and made sure everything was working like new again. The whole process was smooth, fast, and very professional. Laptop didn’t turn on due to water damage. Found this shop and they fixed it up, laptop works better than before. They did beyond what I asked them to fix (fixed my camera too) so I am very happy. Fast replies and they gave me regular updates. I highly recommend this shop :)
I highly recommend this place.I took my sons pc to be repaired the staff were very helpful ,polite and professional From the first visit they kept me updated on every step of the process.They were very thorough and explained all the problems in detail. In the end the pc was working superb and no issues left,they have done an amazing job I will definitely be coming back for future repairs.
Outstanding professionalism and customer service! I discovered Microtech Computers very recently after an unfortunate spillage on my laptop – I knocked a pint of Guinness over it, then (in an attempt to reverse the problem), I foolishly caused substantial damage to the right hand (screen) hinge, etc, etc. The computer was dead! I met with Kal who proceeded to undertake a complete restoration, fully resurrecting it, now good as new! I’ve attached photos – Summarily, the Guinness had caused considerable damage to the motherboard, keyboard, and mouse. In addition to curing this, he had to repair the terrible damage to the screen/hinge junction. Kal is innovative, personable, and takes the greatest of pride in his work. I cannot speak highly enough of Kal/MicroTech, and would strongly recommend him as your first port of call should have any technical issues in his field.
Ok this is a long review, but I thought the detail might be relevant for others. Found Microtech by searching on google while staying at Village hotel. Read their 5 star reviews, and since they were #1 in the area of Ashton under lyne, Tameside thought I should contact them to see if they could help me. It was the right decision, the store manager Sunny was very friendly & professional. The chief tech Kal gave me a detailed explanation before & after the repairs (I’m an engineer so I appreciated this) Where Apple's advice was is to replace the motherboard and reformat the hard drive. Kal actually repaired the faults, with no data lost, did it at short notice and completed it all within 24 hours. It was an urgent repair as we were leaving for Italy the next day to take event photos, and then back to American, and so I urgently needed to have my MacBook working. I am incredibly grateful that Kal could do this, he was professional with excellent IT skills. It's no wonder he & his company were awarded number 1 in tameside greater Manchester. My wife and I frequently visit Manchester for family and work, and there’s no doubt we’ll be using Microtech Computers for all our IT needs whenever we're here. We’ll definitely recommend the team at Microtech to our friends & family that live in Manchester. A special thanks to Kal & Sunny again for their tremendous work.
