    I had a very frustrating experience with A & B Drain Services. I was told by the lady on the phone that someone would be contacting me within minutes regarding who would be attending to my emergency issue. However, the engineer showed up at my property 2 hours later without giving me any notice no call, no text, nothing to let me know what time to expect him. To make matters worse, I wasn't even at home when he arrived. Instead of waiting, he left to go to another job in Oldham, completely disregarding the fact that this was an urgent situation. I was left with no help and no communication. I had high hopes as they were recommended to me by a plumbing company, but sadly, I cannot recommend them after this experience.

    Matthew from A and B Drains came out to our blocked drain on the same morning of my telephone call. He was polite and efficient, sorting the problem out in a very professional manner. I would happily recommend this local company for a reliable service in a timely manner.

    Good for unblocking drains but camera service not good. We had them round to our new home practically as soon as we moved in because the drains were backing up. On the second occasion, we decided to pay for the camera to be put down to see what was going on, they said our drains were fine. We continued to have problems for the next few months until eventually I got another drain company to do another camera survey. They told me our drains were badly damaged and needed urgent repairs, luckily they were able to do them quickly, as we had landscapers in waiting to lay tiles. I went back to A & B Drain services to ask how they could have got it so wrong, but all I got back was excuses and the suggestion that the damage was incurred in the 12 months between camera surveys...rubbish. If you need a camera survey, I suggest you go elsewhere, the difference in the quality of images and the feedback we had is huge. This has cost us £3,500 to put right but if the tiles had gone down before we got it sorted, I dread to think how much it would have been!

    I had a blocked toilet, and I had tried everything, plunging, washing up liquid, bleach, so I called A&B. They arrived on time and fixed the problem by drilling into the ceramic outdoor pipe, and removing the blockage that was caused by lead inside the pipe breaking away which had built up over time. 2 good guys who sorted it, grafted for an hour then charged me a really fair price. Very happy 5*

    I contacted A&B after another provider damaged a gully while unblocking a drain. I’m very happy with the service provided. Their operative was polite, professional and efficient. He explained what had gone wrong and showed me the damaged areas as well as live CCTV view of the remaining system. After completing the work the slabs were re-laid and the area was left clean and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend A&B.

    Asked the company to come and give me a quote for some repair work to my sewer drain. Despite contacting more than once and being promised a visit i have had no show. Appreciate that they said they were very busy due to all the heavy rain etc but the least they could do is communicate rather than not show up when promised. Used them and paid to have drain unblocked, unfortunately blocked again 6 weeks later a subsequent ins pection from insurance company suggested it may be due to repair being required? Feel i have no choice now but to look elsewhere

    The outdoor sewer was blocked rang at 10.30 am and they arrived at 12 new exactly what needed to be done cleared the blockage and cleaned the drive all in around 10 min excellent job would definitely recommend

    Very happy; they were really understanding when we had to re-schedule the work THREE times (funeral, covid, etc). Professional job - plus cleared away all the debris and cleaned the yard. Would definitely recommend.

    Having seen 22 5 star reviews I thought I would call them up to unblock a drain. A guy turned up later that same day to have a look which was great. He then made an appointment with me two days later on Wednesday afternoon told me he would turn up between 12 - 2pm so I took the time off work to be home. At 1pm on Wednesday I phoned their office and asked why he hadn't turned up to fix the problem, I was told he's off work and they don't know why he booked for that date and time. I thought ok could be an honest mistake. So I rearranged for Friday morning. Was told between 10am - 12pm I told them I'd be taking time off work again and can they assure me someone will turn up. Well Friday came and no one turned up AGAIN, no message, no call or anything. Complete waste of time and very unprofessional

    Needed a drain clearing that hadn't been touched in years. Thought it was going to be a major job, luckily found A&B Drain Services and within half an hour of contact Lee came out and job was done. Not a big of a job as I thought, was cleared in under 20 minutes. Price was fantastic and a 5* job. Lee was very friendly and a true professional, would recommend A&B to anyone.
