I visited Screwfix Woking today to buy a replacement lock barrel, I was served by a lady named Jane, she was so pleasant and helpful in measuring my old lock, and finding a replacement from the online catalogue. The lock should arrive tomorrow. Jane made my visit enjoyable and treated me as a valued customer.
I, like so very many people use SCREWFIX on an almost regular basis and l have always had truly exceptional service in every way and have always found said service personnel most helpful and attentive in every way. Excellent customer service from Jane, she swapped out the part I ordered as she believed another part would be more suited, and she was absolutely correct. She took the time to do all of this without me asking, so thank you very much!
Went yesterday for a hinge for my kitchen cupboard , not really understanding what I wanted . I was helped by three very helpful and pleasant ladies who went above and beyond to get me the right hinge. Pleased to say the job is done and my kitchen door now works great. So THANK YOU for your super service. Screwfix you should be so proud of your staff
Just a normal typical slow Screwfix, shut down the trade area and have 2 blokes slowly serving a queue that goes out the door while you watched 2 others in the background stand about looking at a shelve. Other than that yeah great place to stand for 40 minutes.
I ordered a ladder online and it arrived out of level, it was completely wonky, so the next day I had to drive all the way to the store to return it. The old guy in store told me “it was just one of those things that’s part of life”. It was very clear that this guy did not care that I’d gone out of my way to return a shoddy product that clearly had not gone through any sort of quality control. I didn’t ask for one but an apology would have gone a long way. I’d highly recommend some customer service training.
I was served by Darren, who I thought was excellent in every way: helpful, cheerful, efficient and what I found particularly inspiring was his enthusiasm. For me, this rare ingredient made shopping a refreshing experience - will definitely return!
My current go-to place for building and electrical material. The staff are ever so polite and helpful. I keep coming back for more. I dread to think of the loss of business from the other merchants and hardware stores.
