   Terrible service. Currently clearance sales they are selling broken photo frames and hide it skillfully. 5mins after payment I discover it and ask for an exchange. reject right the way n within 1 minute told me that checked cctv. No way it possibly prove its not broken. Think twice before you buy. At the end buy a piece of rubbish n you thought it a big bargain. Staff is snobbish n terrible atttitude no intention to help. Store manager Bobby even worser attitude.

   Real shame this place is closing. Went today for some loft legs. Number of items on the shelf did not match the number on website. Asked a helpful chap who was working in the back, who got the remaining items down from the bulk storage place with a forklift.

   Poor service for click and collect. I ordered few items and had to return an item on the same day. Lady who was handling the request mentioned that my account will be credited in few days. I had to go back after a week and the manager who was on duty informed that they haven't returned the item as per the system. He did it for me but it is embarrassing to go and ask for the credit when you don't have any proof to show that item is returned. They don't give any receipt for the return of online orders. I had the same experience a month ago with the same lady and looks like this has become a normal practice in the shop.

   Looks like it’s closing down! I’m not sure what’s going on with this store but I visited today as I was passing because we’re about to have our bathroom renovated. I was shocked to find three place in a really poor state in general. A little of lighting off, one isle with zero lights, displays missing, power tool display a real jumble and very dusty…. If I was the manager I’d be ashamed as this used to be a nice store, especially when the Aussie lot took over for a while (albeit under a different name/brand). I don’t know if it’s the case, but the feeling I got was that the store is being run-down, maybe the lease is up soon or it’s being redeveloped. If not, then Homebase need to pull their socks up.

   Specifically went to Homebase to request a quote for a kitchen, having spent some time discussing our simple requirements, their quote never arrived which is extremely disappointing and waste of my time. As far as the DIY store is concerned, they have a good selection of paints however the shelves were not as full as I would have expected. Would not waste my time in the kitchen department at Homebase again.

   I am glad that this store was restored to being a reliable British retailer after a brief period of it being taken over by an Australian company, which run it down. Homebase a good range of domestic products for a reasonable price. The staff are always helpful with good customer service.

   Nice staff and good products. A few of the storage boxes I picked off the shelf were broken but luckily I noticed before paying and the cashier told me to put the broken ones back on the shelf and get new ones. The boxes are lovely and exactly what I needed.
