   I would advise everyone to avoid this shop. I went into sell my ring which I have bought earlier this year from Ernest jones. The gentlemen who works there which is abit elderly starting saying “Ernest jones has been closed for a while” he said this whilst raising his eyebrows. Making it seem like am trying to sell him a dodgy ring. I was there in shock, some shops have been closed correct. I told him I bought it from Manchester and he wasn’t having none of it. The shops in Manchester and other places are still open. I felt like I was getting judged. Horrible horrible experience!! Avoid avoid AVOID!!!!!!!!

   Went in a month ago to look at some watches, couldn’t have been more helpful. I also bought my wife’s engagement ring here many years ago. Just been in to have a link added to a watch (not bought here) and it cost the extortionate price of £30. When questioned I was rudely told ‘how much do you think Hamilton would charge’ & ‘you didn’t buy it here’. The local market a short stroll away charges £4! Shame as I am just getting into watch collecting - I was expecting a charge of about £10 - it should be made perfectly clear to customers if they are to be charged such an exorbitant cost! I will never step foot in the place again!

   Took 4 rings in to be worked on. 1 re-sized and now fits perfectly. 1 white gold to be re-rhodium plated, fantastic job. 2 platinum rings to be polished and scratches removed, now look like new. Not the cheapest, but well worth the money. As they say, you get what you pay for. All rings are now back to perfection. Great service, would definitely recommend.

   Lost my wedding ring, but found it the day after which had been crushed by some cars as it fell off into the road near where I parked. Was reccomended Simpsons and glad I took the reccomendation, they sorted it out so it looks better than when we first bought it. I now would highly recommend to anyone as not only is their work A1 but the price was half of what I expected. It would've been value for money at double the price. Thank you Simpsons

They were extremely patient with us and offered us a lot of their time to ensure we were happy with our purchase. It’s evident they have a lot of knowledge and experience which is really appreciated when buying jewellery. Couldn’t recommend them enough ☺️
