   I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding my experience at the Screwfix Twickenham branch on 17 November 2025 at approximately 9:20 AM. Your published price match terms and conditions clearly state: “If you find the same product cheaper and available from a multi-channel retailer, with stores nationwide (excludes warehouse clubs requiring membership) (“Competitor”), we will match their price.” There is no mention anywhere of a distance restriction, nor any rule excluding wholesalers—only warehouse clubs that require membership. Despite this, staff at the Twickenham store incorrectly told me that they “cannot price match with any store further than a 10-mile radius.” Confused, I checked online and found no such rule. I then phoned Screwfix customer services, who also made no reference to such a restriction. When I returned to the store and asked why I had been given false information, staff walked away to speak to a “manager” and came back claiming they “cannot price match a wholesaler.” Again, this is not stated anywhere in Screwfix’s own terms and conditions. The only exclusion listed applies to warehouse clubs requiring membership. I was then told that I “must have spoken to a trainee” on the customer service line. This dismissive response, combined with the conflicting information, felt unprofessional and dishonest. I do not take being lied to lightly, and I expect staff to uphold the terms that Screwfix themselves have published—without inventing additional rules to avoid providing the service. This situation needs to be reviewed and addressed with basic professionalism and common decency. Clear guidance and training should be provided to ensure all staff follow the actual terms and conditions, rather than giving customers inaccurate or misleading information. I look forward to a proper explanation and resolution.

   I and everyone I know loves Screwfix. A branch has opened closer to me but I'm continuing to use Twickenham because the staff are so helpful & friendly. I always order & collect the following day. Most recently I've been buying fence paint, & screw eyes & wire to train my plants.

   So far best Screwfix Branch. I have been in several branches and most of them are good but Twickenham is more better than any branches. Even better than other brands. Everybody kind, helpful, fast. I am always welcomed there and i feel good whenever i am there. Thank you.

   Went in the other day and was served by two lovely young ladies who were really professional and helpful, I needed advice on my bathroom and they were kind enough to research with me as I’m not too good at tech. Will definitely be coming back and recommending them to my fellow friends

   Good shop which has been a life saver a couple of times. Click and collect is always efficient and was also able to order a couple of things over the counter which was not in stock. Helpful staff and overall a good experience.

   Very helpful. Took the items out of theit packaging for me to see. When he wasn't sure about how to attach item, he went top find out and didn't just try and blag it. Appreciate the time he took with me to explain. I now feel that I can buy with confidence of getting what I actually need, rather than being upscaled to something more expensive. They also tend top be cheaper than Wicks, B&Q etc.
