This museum is fantastic β€” such a cute little place! On the ground floor, there’s a range of Victorian shops: a sweet shop, a chemist, a grocery store, a pub, a toy shop, and a bakery all set up with incredible detail. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and the museum itself is definitely worth a visit.

Really loved this unique musuem. It gave gave a flavour of Victorian life in Leeds. Lots of hands on ooportunities and when we were there a really good toy exhibition. The staff are very welcoming and enthusiastic about the history of the items.

A proper back in time place, lovely staff, knowledgable and polite, so do ask them a question! Was very quiet for a weekday visit. Bliss! Loads to see and explore. Free parking opposite. (Purposely only put 4 pictures, i don’t want to spoil your visit!)

Not into boring museums but this one was quite quirky and unique. A little street with dressed-up windows and little rooms you can get into. Β£14 for adult and 2 kids over 5.

This museum is fantastic. Downstairs they've built a Victorian street with shops you can wander around, with so many little details to see. There's a dress up shop, too! Upstairs, there are several galleries with old toys and even old game machines that you can play with old pennies, so bring some coins to exchange! Lots of fun, so much hands on stuff, several play areas for children, overall a brilliant museum well worth the small entry price.

Loved the ground floor of the building - Very nicely done. However, we didn’t quite enjoy the first floor. (Personal opinion, of course). But in general, the place is worth visiting and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

This place made me think of the York Museum, which is one of my favourite museums in the UK. Loved every second I spent here and I will definitely recommend it to anyone that enjoys a walk through history.

Small yet wonderful museum. Ground floor has range of shops and streets in Victorian era, and upstairs is featured with childhood collections and toys, magazines from 1960s. Staffs are very friendly and helpful

I was expecting something bigger but I wasn’t disappointed. It’s quite small but absolutely amazing! I visited during the Halloween week and they added so many decorations around the Victorian streets. It was so beautiful! You can enter inside some shops and there are little details everywhere. You really feel like you traveled back in time. Upstairs there’s also a museum about the childhood in Victorian era. It was very interesting and nice!
