   I always try to get my DIY supplies here. It’s a family business and the guys are so knowledgeable and always happy to offer guidance about what to use for different jobs. If they don’t have something, they always offer to order it in and I’ve bought some top things on special offer here too. Highly recommended if you, like me, want a proper chance to look at things and discuss with experts before buying.

   Absolutely excellent local DIY shop! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to give expert advice — much better service than you’d ever get at large DIY shops. They really know their stuff and always help find the best solution, whether it’s for plumbing, electrics, or any other home repair. My go-to place for anything DIY — can’t recommend them highly enough!

   This place and the guys running it remind me of what good shops used to be back in the 90s — helpful people who actually care about what they do. They go out of their way to help you instead of pushing unnecessary purchases. Rather than making you buy a bunch of parts you might not even need, they take the time to fix the issue using individual pieces and charge a very fair price. Great service all around. Definitely my new go-to spot.

   Impromill DIY Centre is amazing. I very highly recommend this place. Staff ist super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, they really care about you. They also have a little book with trusted tradespeople in the area. Really couldn't have done my renovation project without them. They even tried to fix my drill when it broke down. The shop is also like a bit like a Tardis: They have everything. And if there should be something they don't have, they know exactly what you should get and where to get it from. If B&Q is hell, this is place heaven.

   I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff at Impromill DIY Centre on Hornsey Road are incredibly helpful, honest, and genuinely care about their customers. I had a tricky issue with plumbing, and not only did they give me the right parts, but they also explained exactly how to fit them — saving me time and money. Their advice is always spot-on. The shop is packed with everything: tools, paint, wood, screws, electrical gear — you name it. Prices are fair, and the atmosphere is welcoming. So much better than going to a big store where no one helps you. This is proper old-school service with modern knowledge. A real gem in North London. I

   The friendliest, most helpful store! The owner truly just wants to help your project be successful and he offers really great advice. I keep coming back as each time I always get exactly what I want/need and advice of how to best approach what I’m doing. They also have much more stock than the local B&Q.
