   An excellent company. We used them this week for the first time. We purchased materials to make a gate and the man serving us was absolutely lovely. Helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient, he offered us a brilliant customer service. They delivered on the day we asked for with no problems whatsoever and even the delivery driver was nice. Everyone we encountered there was happy in their work and we left with everything we needed. We will definitely use this wood merchant in future for all our tasks. Thank you for your wonderful customer service.

   Aldford timber Ltd is a superb company. We walked in and were immediately greeted and given excellent service. Quick, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. We needed a lot of help having to source old detailed timber for renovation. They had ALL we needed at brilliant prices and supported us in what we would need to complete the project. ALL the staff were friendly, helpful, kind and well versed. Thank you to Billy and the staff for giving such outstanding service and support. What a wonderful company. Highly recommended.

   Bit of a familiar theme here. Appears to b more by luck than competence if you get correct order on time and accurately. Made order direct with Ruxley store, told saturday delivery. waited in no delivery. Stopped job. Had to call and rearrange when delivery finally showed up two days later wood was mixed sizes. Useless for need. Next time I need timber I am avoiding Alsford and going HSW or Selco.

   Ordered over £1k worth of materials for a garden project, waited 3 days for the initial delivery, driver was rude as he didn't want to help lift the concrete gravel boards, boards were 30mm too long ( ordered 1800 and got 1830??) As I had labour waiting I had to go another supplier who delivered the same day, still waiting for the rest of my stuff 5 days later!! Even though was told all but two items were in stock, turns out in stock means at another branch, no apologies, just told they are really busy, recommend you use alternative supplier.

   Delivery booked for 1st of the day but did not arrive until 4.30pm. Order incomplete despite being told it was all in stock. Postcrete supplied out of date and taken ages to go off instead of 20 mins as said on side of bag. If your on a time deadline dont use this company wasted £200 of my money having workman waiting around with no materials
