   Tom the manager was incredibly helpful. Told me about a promotion they had on where you get a free hot drink when you buy anything in store. Was also mega helpful when I was getting flustered with the self service tills however he was extremely helpful and kind. Also the shop is well stocked tidy and from the few experiences I have had going there staff have been polite professional. The customer service is second to non.

   I called in at this store to do a small shop, went to use my co-op loyalty card, this store did not accept it (co-ops own card!). Staff said they only accept southern co-op cards. What allot of nonsense Sainsbury, Tesco all one card and co-op is one store. An odd place staff not very helpful I will be avoiding.

   Thanks for providing a rear car park, if you do park there the rear exit will be closed buy don't worry you can walk inconveniently tk the front past the member of staff smoking in the doorway. Most staff rude or not interested, tell staff about youths loading their pockets and they say who cares and that it happens all the time, if you want to pay cash you usually have to ask and wait for a member of staff to finish their personal call on a mobile phone. Local off licences and privately owned shops at least smile when they take your money, not here, Avoid.

   I always avoid this shop although it is my local. Shelves are usually badly stocked and staff obviously have better things to do than serve customers. They have replaced all but one if the checkouts with card only self service. i went in there today as I was in a hurry, as usual no one on checkout but as I wanted scratch cards I stood and waited. Eventually a man came to serve me and greeted me with "cash or card?". I said "card", his response was that i coud have used a self service check out but he would serve me (very begrudgingly) on this occasion. I explained that I had waited at this till because I wanted scratch cards his reply to which was that they went through the self service till. He didnt seem to grasp that someone had to get the scratchcards, so he would have to come over anyway. Definitely won't be going in there again.

   Got a lot better recently, fresh veggies, better choice of meat, less empty shelves. Also smaller queues than before. Keeps improving ! Old review (2/5 stars in 2018): Something is a bit wrong there. Poorly managed ? Understaffed ? The shelves are half-empty - simple products are often not available (last time no chicken, vegies in poor condition - it varies). The only good thing is - it's 500m walk for me ;)
