I was sent a box of expired capri suns from Sainsbury’s Walton on Thames via (Uber Eats). This has disappointed me as I was supposed to take these on a trip tomorrow but now can’t! This was intentionally done as there’s no way an expired box of capri suns is just sitting on the shelf. Utterly disgusting. Could’ve given this to my SON!!!!!

I bought 12 bottles of wine on your very generous 25% discount special. There was a little error at the checkout. I returned today and 2 most helpful staff members at the customer services counter assisted me. I have to mention Matt who did the recalculations and also Zingy (not sure of the spelling of her name - on duty at 15h onwards). Both were very helpful and made the process go smoothly. They are an asset to Sainsbury's. Thanks Matt and lovely Zingy.

Every Saturday morning, never any small trolleys available at street level. Why have you got hundreds of large trolleys that a lot of people can't manage?! No sliced bread again. Unless there's a delivery problem, please employ staff for the night shift to ensure shelves are stocked ready for Saturday morning. Otherwise, I love shopping here.

Not happy with this store at all lately. Security staff do little about the gangs of teenagers smoking weed on the stairs which we now have to use as the travelators have been out of service for weeks now. Particularly disappointed that you continue to employ the very rude man who deals with the trollies and who is frequently deliberately unhelpful to customers. Happy to give you a better description of him if Sainsbury’s management team want to reply to this review.

Today I gave Sainsbury’s another chance after my previous bad experience in 2015, when I was sold fake Pregnacare supplements. Unfortunately, this visit was just as disappointing. While shopping with my husband in the cake aisle, I picked up a packet of lemon cake I liked. Normally I only check expiry dates on meat, dairy and poultry. However, my husband happened to check this packet, and to our shock it had expired three days earlier. I reported this to the aisle assistant, but instead of showing any concern or apology, they just tossed the packet into their tray without even checking if more expired products were still on the shelves. My husband went to look himself (see attached video) and found that expired and non-expired packets had been mixed together. Imagine if a customer picked up several packets, checked only the first one, and unknowingly took home expired food. It’s utterly unacceptable!!! The whole situation felt careless at best and misleading at worst. It left us with a very poor impression of customer service and food safety standards. In the end, we spent £40 with my newly made Nectar card, but for that price all we got was a handful of vegetables, hummus and chips, which barely filled one bag. I’d hoped that with the strong competition from Aldi and Lidl, Sainsbury’s would have improved its standards. Instead, it seems stuck in the middle. It’s neither offering the low prices of Aldi, Asda and Lidl, nor the customer service and quality of M&S and Waitrose. After this experience, I won’t be shopping at Sainsbury’s EVER! EVER! AGAIN! When I shared the video with colleagues, none were surprised, as several of them had experienced similar issues in the past. Sainsbury’s, you can keep spending money to buy paid fake reviews, but most of us won’t be coming back after that first slap on the face by your service.

Pretty good store layout and I like the fact parking can be free in the Heart when I'm doing my weekly shop. They've recently increased the minimum spend to get this from £10 to £15 and it is capped at 2 hours. Be careful on the travelator from the car park, especially in the rain, as when it's wet it can be really slippy but they do try and make signs to warn/remind you. Smartshop was a game changer that made shopping really easy. If you have nectar I would definitely recommend trying it.

Been using this supermarket for years now. Easy access to parking from two roads so you're never really stuck getting in or out of it. Generally good range of products but if you're looking for clothing or Toys, I would say drive to Sainsbury in Cobham as this one doesn't have a huge range. Overall it's a very handy place on the way to/from work or can stop by after school run. While can always grab a coffee opposite or even visit the library should you wish. The parking is free for upto 2 hours (I think) if you spend £10 or more.

I went for some support underwear which I have bought in there before, knickers to be precise, they don't sell them anymore in fact they don't even sell them online any more, which is ridiculous because they were always sold out when I wanted to get some from the store, I've heard other people say why have they stop selling this product. It seems it's always the way with retail something that's popular then gets discontinued, why is that? I've worked in the retail sector and I still can't figure it out, it's baffling beyond belief. I do hope that someone from sainsbury's up high replies to this, to explain why.

A good variety of desserts. Self service checkout option. Large enough to have most things you need.

Always good place...very good staff. You'll find most of your requirements and if you more than £10 worth of shopping they'll pay for your parking... nice?!!?
