Tesco has always been my go to place for shopping, which is why my experience today was especially disappointing. I arrived with around Β£30 in Β£1 and Β£2 coins, which I intended to use to pay for my food shop. Knowing that most self checkout machines are card only, I deliberately queued at a cash and card till, even though the queue was longer, specifically so I could pay with cash. When I reached the till, the cashier told me she did not have enough time to count the coins. I explained that I wanted to use the cash to pay for my shopping, but instead she directed me to the Coinstar machine and told me to use that and then bring the voucher back to pay. Although the situation already felt unnecessary and frustrating, I followed her instructions. Using the Coinstar machine resulted in a Β£6 fee being taken from my money. When I returned to the till with the voucher, while my basket was being held, I was then told that the voucher could not be used there and that I would need to go to the customer service desk to redeem it instead. This left me losing Β£6 unnecessarily and added an extra 30 minutes to what should have been a straightforward food shop. The entire experience was confusing, frustrating, and extremely disappointing. I genuinely do not understand the purpose of having cash and card tills if customers are discouraged or refused when trying to pay with cash. This experience has seriously affected my trust and confidence in a store I usually rely on. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as this situation could have been handled far better.

A hypermarket to beat them all. We so here because it's geographically close, obviously, but nevertheless, it's where we chose to shop, because it ticks all the boxes. And even though they removed the change rooms, we still get a lot of our clothes from here! Good quality for the price.

Anita, always helps customers with a smile and a professional manner. She answers questions patiently and handles everything quickly and accurately. Her attitude leaves customers feeling great as they leave the store she truly deserves recognition.

DIPIKA IS AMAZING. My mother needed help getting things in the fruit section and she was SO helpful. So kind and so attentive to what my mother needed. Even though another customer was being extremely rude to her at the time, she was able to help me and my mother who is 85 years old. We love DIPIKA, sheβs made us come back β€οΈ

I really donβt understand how this place is still running. Every single day, the toilets reek of faeces β itβs honestly unbearable. And if thatβs not bad enough, the toilets are constantly out of order. Itβs as if fixing them isnβt even on their to-do list. The staff? Always looking angry or annoyed, and they act like helping customers is the worst part of their day. Zero friendliness, zero professionalism. Donβt even get me started. Itβs not unusual to see half-eaten sandwiches or sushi boxes just tossed anywhere β on shelves, inside freezers, even near the till. This place is disgusting and stressful. I only come here when I absolutely have no choice.

I would say this is a very good for holistic shopping, as it has grocery, clothes, elctricals and pharmacy. One stop shop. The only annoying thing at times is that that the stock is sometimes empty and not replenished on time even being a 24x7 grocers.

Great selection, everything is clean and well-lit. I don't feel it's stuffy or too busy in there. However, the service at the Kiosk was extremely slow and some items were opened/seal broken.

If I could give zero for their non existent customer service I would - on the last 2 visits the checkout was shut whilst I was queuing and after having been standing queuing between the aisles for the last 10 minutes or more. A checkout supervisor today told me tough - we closed at 4.30- and implied I was lying about having been queuing for some time - a manager then told me unconvincingly that he would mention my dissatisfaction to some other manager - if you are not serving the customers already in the shop then Tesco - close the front doors earlier maybe an hour before to allow whatever time it is you need to be able to effectively manage both your staffβs end of contract hours and customerβs expectations. Or how about your supervisors make it clear to all customers - politely - they must go to the self service checkout rather than waste time standing in a queue - only for the checkout to close in their face - and finally invest some of your profit in basic customer service skills for your staff who are frankly just rude at this branch .

This is a great store, one of my favourite supermarkets to shop in, it has almost everything i need. Very clean, maybe not so much with regards to their toilets, and a big shout out to the disgusting many males who touch their bits and decide its ok to walk out without washing their hands... you nasty pieces of work! My reason for the 2 stars is simply because I feel the store did not need to spend the millions its has in refurbing the shop especially knowing we are experiencing this living crisis. The store was fine as it was, the money could have been put towards better offers on essentials foods, reducing some products prices and still keeping the free electric car charging ports!!! BUT no, they decided to spend money that they could given back to their customers. I think this type of refurb has taken place in many stores around the country.... In my opinion this is very inconsiderate of TESCO.

Massive store, sells everything from clothes, shoes, bedding, kitchenware, toys, separate phone store inside, coffee shop and giraffe restaurant attached. Huge beauty section with somebody always on hand to offer guidance and support. Huge selection of food and drink and suits everyone taste. Community area, they even hold a mother and baby group there and health visitor are there on a certain day off the month. Disabled friendly, with lots off scooters and wheelchairs to borrow, plenty of parking. Petrol station also.
