Went into asda this morning to pick up some things for lunch and fancied some doughnuts from the fresh bakery section so I picked up some ice ring donuts, went outside and opened them and tried to eat one of them and it was half frozen and inedible. I find it unbelievable that they would freeze doughnuts let alone put them out on display rock hard and freezing cold.
Staff speaks indian amongst themselves and constantly on the phones.The service is so slow that they just don’t care. Thought an icecream will melt while waiting for someone to authorise the paracetamol purchase.
I stopped my journey here to purchase a Meal Deal. I had a can of drink, sandwich and a bag of sweets. I don't think that I was quite eligible for the Meal Deal bonus discount offer. But I was 'all good' because I was busy doing some research. In connection to car valeting equipment. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Just bought crisps and realised the best before date is October 2024- it’s disgusting they would sell something so out of date. I can’t even return them as I was visiting for a weekend. Bad customer service, they seemed to not want to help anyone on the self check in- even when nothing else was open to use.
Be careful at the cigarette counter if the Indian lady is working , if purchasing a few items and paying by card whilst payment is going through she drags the cigarettes back and puts them under the counter. I guess to re-sell at her own profit ( so basically theft / scamming ) this has happened on a few occasions and I’ve made it clear to the security and management. I asked them to check cctv but was asked to leave the store ! Last night it happened again . And to add to that the staff in this store are absolutely shocking, lazy , rude , and unprofessional.
Has a decent range for a quick shop. Don't bother doing a major weekly shop here. They didn't even have staff on the check-outs last time I visited.
24.12.2022 Massive store looked like it had been raided. Long queues and not much on the shelves. Very friendly and helpful store staff. Can't believe I was in England when I was there. Didn't use the toilets. Customer service queue was 15 people long with 3 queues.
I had purchased few clothing from Asda Hounslow and weren't suitable so went to Asda Twickenham,but the lady at the till was very much reluctant to accept these and was like we don't know the actual cost as we don't display clothes here ,so it would be better of you return to the shop where it was purchased.All the items had tag on it still after convincing her that this not the first time I am doing a return here she agreed and then told if there is any discrepancy in the billing the store has to bear it?? If Asda accepts returns any store why aren't people working there upgraded about this returns in any stores?
The worse place to shop with no trolleys or baskets by the door and staff couldn't care less. He told me to use b&m's trolley! No normal checkouts open, only stupid self check out available which I don't want to use. Why would I do their work for them. Never again!
