Absolutely appalling customer service at Asda Sutton, specifically from a customer assistant called Amed (she). I was in a rush due to the strict 2-hour parking restriction and went to the cigarette desk. The lady there told me to go to another desk but advised me to go around the side instead of walking all the way around, as I was clearly short on time. When I approached the other desk, Amed flat-out refused to help me simply because I came from the side. She had no customers, was not doing anything, and still chose to refuse service. No explanation, no flexibility, no basic customer service. I went back to the cigarette desk and explained the situation. That assistant even spoke to Amed over the radio and told me to go back - and yet again, Amed refused to serve me!. At that point it felt like she was just trying to prove a point, though Iβm not sure what point that was other than pure laziness and a complete lack of customer care. Thankfully, the lady at the cigarette desk showed some common sense and kindness and processed the refund herself (massive thanks to her, as she was the only helpful person in this whole situation). Because of all this unnecessary back-and-forth, I ended up leaving the car park a few minutes over the 2-hour limit, which only added to my frustration and stress. Now Iβm left hoping I donβt get a parking ticket... all because one staff member couldnβt be bothered to do her job. I genuinely cannot believe how unhelpful, inflexible, and dismissive Amed was. I havenβt had such a bad customer service experience in a very long time. Asda seriously needs to address this, because customers shouldnβt be treated like this, especially when theyβre polite, in a rush, and the store isnβt even busy.

The car park seems to have been sold off to parking vultures (or vampires?). I ended up staying 15 min beyond the two hour limit,.. only because I did what the sign said to go to customer services with my registration. Now wasting my life trying to work out when I arrived, if I need to pay, who and how I can pay, or do I just wait for the fine? Avoid this place like the black death.

My Customer Experience β ββββ
Terrible experience last night, was shopping and talking to a former work colleague on my headphones, the security guard started gesturing and acting threatening took my headphones out to be told agressively I am watching you, I replied that I am shopping. Finished shopping to he approached by the security guard to be told it was mistaken identity and don't people make mistakes. At 10.30pm there wasn't many people in the shop , I found this behaviour both threatening, stereo profiling and unacceptable. As a business owner I recommend urgent training a shopping experience should not be a confrontation when your shopping and minding your own business. The incident has put me off Asda

Incredible. Went to by tabaco by 21.47 it was already close ( closes at 22.00 ) the employee from that service told me that they were to busy so she closed earlier. If so there were 10 costumers inside if so and she was talking with another 2 cashiers leaning on the self payment machines. Everyone does what they want in this world we living. No coment

Huge superstore, excellent parking within building. Good array of products - it even has a halal meats section which is ideal for the Muslim community. There is a pharmacy at the entrance and an Oriental takeout for noodles, rice, etc. The hot food section runs out of roast chicken every so often. I love the breakfast selection each morning,. They are very competitively priced. The homeware section can be a mess sometimes, probably because of the way the oddly shaped items are arranged

I love ASDA but I am not near any ASDA branch unfortunately but I go there for specific things because they are always first to stock particular items that are launched. Previously went there for the lost the pot noodles and now I have to go again for the new Yorkshire Teas!

Security did not allowed me to enter the shop with my pregnant wife to help her with the shopping because we were from the same household. After an security made an unreasonable comments I asked for his name so I can made an official complaint. He refused to so of course. I approached to take picture of his ID batch but did not have one but he made it look like I tried enter the shop. The other security guard was not even close to hear the conversation but came to back his story of course. There were many other couples allowed to enter, I filmed a video with many other families entering together, while sitting outside. Security refused to answer why they treated me unfairly. Upon my request to have an explanation why they were allowed and I was not, the security answer was - because we were from the same household again. When I confronted then for allowing other families they refused to answer and hide inside the shop. Very unpleasant and unreasonable security, lying and rude also refused to identify themselves after my kind request. The manager also refused to identify herself after speaking to her. Terrible customer experience!!!

Oh my my, this place is huge. Pretty much a one stop shop. Very clean and well stocked. Lifts to the car park. Β£2 for 2 hrs parking, which you get back if you spend a minimum of Β£5. The machine prints two copies. One for your dashboard and the other for you to give to cashier upon checkout.
