How can you serve costs coffee but have no lids for the cups ? I left my coffee at checkout & didn’t pay because there was no lids
I had very bad experience yesterday evening, I went there to get bread with my kids at 9:58 without knowing that they are closing at 10:00 . Security guards didn’t let me in store and luckily one gentleman who was already in store offered me to buy bread for us, And he picked bread for us and went to pay so I asked security guards that let me just go and pay so I went in to pay for my bread that time security guards on duty on 29/03/2025 used abused to me , So I called manager but he also didn’t say anything to that security guard also he said security guards is not part of Tessco. No one took responsibility there is video avedance if they can check time above. He was so rude, And I can’t believe he used that language. Management must take action against that rude abusing person . There was one eyewitness who heard him speak bed language
It’s meh, went there for two specific things and they had none of one of them, just a label with nothing above and the other item, cooked cocktail sausages they had one left which was hidden towards back and a day past expiry date. Had to go else where
I’m a regular customer at this local Tesco Express, shopping there several times a day. Today, I bought a bottle of Calpol for my child who is ill, but when I got home, I realised the bottle was broken. I went straight back to the store to exchange it, but the staff member claimed the damage must have happened after I left and refused to replace it. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to buy another bottle as my child needed it, but I’m extremely disappointed with the service. I’ve never returned anything before, and as someone who shops here daily, I expected far better. Tesco, this really isn’t good enough – please review how situations like this are handled.

Shop is regularly shut for maintenance without warning. I'm not happy with that.
Most of the staff who work here are lovely and helpful however the one star rating is because of an extremely rude tall black guy who usually works on the checkout. He just looks fed up with life and constantly in a bad mood. I strongly suggest that management have words with him or better still, show him the door. Completely unacceptable
Hell on earth. I just want to buy some cheese, instead it’s mental warfare. Clubcard price on this, not on that, price hikes at random, and constant pushing of junk food. This place doesn’t save money even if they try to make me think that buying a Kit Kat chunky half price is a saving when I only went to buy mozzarella - another fail because your print on second look says mozzarella and cheese bits. There are stores on this parade owned by good people who focus on selling fresh fruit, vegetables, staples not rubbish sold in plastic. Save money and your health by buying from them. They also don’t have a security guard and a payment machine that assumes you’re robbing them.
Always go to Tesco express to buy meal deal for lunchtime. Or pop in there to get a few bits. Staff are always happy to assist all their customers.
Brilliant if you want to purchase 30 different types of Easter Egg or other promotional chocolate at any given time, but that's about it. Very limited fresh groceries, food out of date on multiple occasions.
