Iceland really need to upgrade their shopping basket. This isn't 1940s anymore. They need to bring trolley with wheel on the bottom. Our arm carries alot of pain when you want to look around and decide what to buy.

Incident that occurred on Saturday, 2 August 2025, at approximately 20:17. While I was at the checkout, a member of staff was playing with a bin bag. After I had completed my payment and was walking towards the exit, this staff member hit me with the bin bag and he is continually playing like kid . He did not apologies and instead laughed with a security guard who was present. This behaviour was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable in a customer service environment.
I witnessed an African women customer cussing and swearing at a young couple in the queue. The irony of things is that the staff constantly supported her and did not even intervene once to stop her for bad mouthing. In fact they laughed and supported her. Instead, they tried to stop the young couple from engaging. It seems the staff at this branch supports discrimination and abuse. She kept on cussing and swearing but no one dare to stop her. In this Iceland branch, you will be supported and will get praise if you are loud mouth but if you mind your business then you will face abuse from the staff themselves. I used to regularly shop at this branch but this incident has put me off. I am completely freaked out.
Has what is needed. Small though, but if you go at a quiet time it's easy enough to get what you need and get out. And the store is generally clean and well presented. Now that they have self checkouts, it's easier.
Manager is extremely rude Complaining in loud voice about OLD people not using self check out tills Bearing in mind it was a Tuesday, discount day for over 60s Different time I heard a lady ask about a product as it was smaller than usual... his attitude was do you want it or not
No restrictions on eggs is my favourite thing there right know. However always understaffed.
The staff member at the till was very friendly and professional. The store is easy to get around as it has just 3 aisles. Prices with the over 60s discount means some things I buy are slightly cheaper than other supermarkets. I just have to be careful as some are not. I now have the taste test to go.
Easy layout. Nice staff. Not always enough tills open but only a short wait.
