Thank you Store Manager Irene Stewart and Supervisor Riaz Uddin, for the wonderful customer service that I experienced recently in Sainsbury's Clapham Junction - I hope the company makes Irene train to become a senior asset to the franchise because that level of duty-of-care speaks prestigiously about professionalism and dedication. I also hope that Riaz becomes a manager in future references towards training other members of staff to reach the outstanding measures and quality in teamwork that he displayed with Irene, and thank you Sainsbury's for choosing such a dynamic duo - Irene you are absolutely top calibre and I will definitely speak highly of you going forward. I will be conveying this feedback to your Area Manager Tom Williams and Senior Management within the Sainsbury's Company, again - thank you Irene, you're genuinely appreciated. Good morning, I was in Sainsbury's this morning waiting for the bakery to be ready so l can catch my train. I had asked one of your staff members whose name goes by Shaun. I asked him a simple question how long is your crossiants gonna take and so utterly rude and disrespectful he had a very bad attitude towards me when I had just asked him a question. He said to me “what do you want” that already I didn’t appreciate the tone that he was speaking to me. Then i explained to him that my train is in 10 mins and I had asked how long is it gonna take. He then responded to me “I’m trying to do it as soon as possible sir ok” let me do it as soon as possible so he can give me my crossiant”. I then told him that you have a bad attitude. And he was like to me “that if you disturb me it’s gonna take more time”. He was very ignorant and then he tried to change the way he said things to me to the security guy named Joseph. This is not how your staff should treat your customers. Please deal with him accordingly.

Nice store, but poorly trained staff. I went in this morning to buy a Red Bull and something to eat. The guy asked for my ID. No problem. He starts checking for the hologram, security features, then makes a scene asking for the manager. A pretty embarrassing scenario, but I guess he’s doing his job. Manager comes, approves it, and I pay. I said to the first guy “please, next time try not to make a scene when doing these things”. I got a really snarky “I’ll make a scene if I want to” in reply. I mean, look, I respect you’re doing your job and following the Challenge 25 rules, but I just politely asked you not to make it such a big deal in front of a queue of customers and your colleagues. It’s pretty embarrassing, when you could’ve just been professional about it. I don’t know what kind of power trip you’re on whilst you’re in the Sainsbury’s uniform, but it reflects really badly on the team.

Come in here often as I travel south from Clapham with my bike. Rude secuirty guard said i wasn't allowed in with it and insisited I leave it outside. Won't be coming here again thats for sure.

Fair selection of wine, but, having arrived here at 29 years old, I have *never* been asked for ID. After a bit of a glare he served me. However, that fellow was on a power trip after denying my girlfriend (32) alcohol.

This store does not even deserve the star that Maps forces me to give them. This same store is staffed by actual robots. And the two people who appeared to be members of staff are (in fact) robots. That Sainsbury sells the smallest can of overpriced Coca-Cola in plain sight is nothing short of scandalous. No one has noticed because of Covid. But l have noticed. And if Sainsbury thinks they can get away with it... They won't get away without a fight. Because I am getting ready to fight them.

The smuggled treasurer came to help me, I only went to buy coffee at home, I finished it in the morning, and went out with a bag full of purchases, irresistible promotions, good prices, professional attitude, help in paying for the machines I had received before years when I was not used to paying without a cashier :). Convenient location, at the exit of Clapham Junstion, as all shops in the Sansbury chain all the card payment options. We recommend! 5 Stars for Sansbury Local Clapham
