This is the most disappointing online shopping experience I have ever endured. My delivery was cancelled with no notification, I was then informed a redelivery would be rescheduled for the next day. The next day, I had still received no notification, I phoned and was told that the management team had sent my entire order back to the shelves and they would not be delivering it. They seemed to think I would reorder it. I will, with Sainsbury's. Disgusting customer service and I have logged a formal complaint.

Perhaps Tesco should find the staff a better smoking area as staff smoking where the parent children bays are (right next to the timpsons) is not really the best place. Having to walk through smoke with your baby or pack up your car and children with the strong smell of cigarettes is not the ideal situation if I am honest.

Avoid And Find alternative Waiting one hour to pay for my groceries because there was only one till open. They are forcing people to use self-service, which I wasn't able to do. Also, I don't work in that shop, so I definitely use a till to pay. After paying, I went to customer service to complain about it, but they didn't even care. They just gave me a phone number which had no option on the voice guide for how to complain. I tried another option just to be connected, but at some point, the call was interrupted. In that shop, is being more difficult to go for shopping, due to shortage of tills. I'm considering to use alternatives around, as there are plenty much better

I think you should teach staff at your customer service desk how to speak to customers offhand and dismissive. No other customers but wanted to finish what she was doing and didn’t want me to put her off by talking. I understand but a polite apology and polite asking if I’d mind waiting would be less abrasive. I’ve got choices so won’t be back

A standard large Tesco with all that entails. Elmers End station is right next door. Pretty good bus links too. Costa cafe inside and public toilets. Petrol station outside, lots of parking

Staff are helpful and polite; huge range of food (although cannot get 1l bottles of soy sauce here) and you can bring your soft plastic to be recycled. Only downside is the bicycle parking: round the side of the shop which leaves bicycled vulnerable to thieves

This is a typical Tesco store, large in scale and with various different subsections within such as a fresh bakery, fresh butchery, fresh fish counter, Tesco mobile section, there own brand clothing section and a Costa Coffee outlet. When you first arrive if by car you will find a large two storey car park with a good amount of disabled and family parking spaces close to the entrance if you need public transport there is a bus stop, tram stop and train station all within 1-2 minutes from the entrance. The store is located on ground floor only so ideal for wheelchair users. You will also find a public toilet with a separate disabled toilet and separate baby changing room. Now I viewed the clothing section and found there to be plenty of choice and a variety of sizes to suit your needs. The shelves and racks were very well stocked and I witnessed several staff members freely helping customers within this section. I also visited the phone section this unfortunately did not set a good first impression to me I saw one member of staff whom did not even acknowledge that I was there and did not move from his chair or as if I need help, this section was also very small and felt like it was a after thought to the store. The main bulk of the store I.e the grocery section was well laid out and there was plenty of signs indicating what was in each isle and what I found to be helpful was there were signs at the end of the ilse so you could see from one end to the other without having to go into the ilse. I found and witnessed staff at the checkouts (self service and tills) to be warm and friendly and helpful to customers that were in need of some assistance. Now I had also the displeasure of using the public restroom and I was very disappointed I looked at the baby changing room and was shocked at how unclean it was and also noticed that there was no lock on the door I saw that the nappy bin was very full and the changing bench looked unclean. I looked at the disabled toilet this was slightly better there was grab rails and a emergency pull alarm I think the only reason why this was cleaner is the fact you need a Radar key to gain access. Now I was not able to view and review the female toilets and I am male. However the male toilet was a horror show dirty floors and uncleaned toilets with a cubicle missing a light and no toilet paper and one cubicle missing a lock. Overall if you are visiting this store to shop only then this is a good store to do so but if you need to use the toilet you maybe in for a very bad surprise.

Standard Tesco superstore. Loads of parking space, fuel, car wash services. Located just adjacent to public transport so helps if you don't have a car. Store well lit, spacious and shelves filled up regularly. Self scan makes things quicker for billing.

This Tesco store has EVERYTHING. Homeware, toys, clothes, hot deli, mobile shop, travel money bureau, meat, fish, bakery and a massive range of food, toiletries, pharmaceuticals and household products, as well as their seasonal aisle. They have a Costa Coffee on site and petrol station. The store is well set out and organised. It's so huge, they really do have a great range of products. You can do scan and shop if you have a clubcard and they have self service tills separated for trolleys or baskets so you never have to queue long, even in busy periods. They have donation points for a local food bank, so remember to pick up something to donate as you're going round.
