I love this activity centre! I visited it frequently during the summer to do paddleboarding and will be coming back for more when the cold months pass! They have a range of activities to pick from and decently priced and the lake is beautiful as well - When the wind was a bit strong they even took us by boat to a quieter part of the lake so that we could still paddleboard and stay safe! They are so welcoming and friendly and this was our favourite thing to do in the summer due to how warm they were towards us. Me and my sisters will be back again!!

A great afternoon paddle boarding here today. The staff were great, unfortunately we were in the middle of the lake when an unexpected storm started. The staff were brilliant coming out in the speed boat to get us all off the water quickly and safely. They then let us wait for the storm to pass before we went back on the water. Fabulous views all around the lake and nice clear water with no weeds to paddle in. Our first time here and will def be back and recommend to others. Many thanks to the staff who were so helpful and friendly and made us feel safe out on the water. We will be back soon hopefully on a lovely calm sunny day!

I dont know what the going rate for a pedalo is to hire but £19 for 45 minutes seems alright on a nice sunny day and give the kids exercise. Staff very friendly and all round pleasant. Had a good 30 minutes before boredom kicked in

This year, we decided to break away from the usual kids' party and have a kayaking party at the lake. We were not disappointed! It was affordable, and everything was included equipped, wetsuits, and instructors. The staff were friendly, and most of all, every single child enjoyed it. Plus, the kids were learning so many skills without even realising it. I would highly recommend it!

A late review... Had a lovely walk round the lake on a busy sunny Sunday last year. Had a lovely meal at a restaurant, can't remember the name of it but I enjoyed the best ever chicken fajitas. I enquired at the club house about hiring a windsurfing board and sail, didn't have the RYA certificates for level 1 and 2 so I wasn't able to hire one, which was a shame, I'm sure if they had let me rig one up they would have known that I can do it. As for prices of lessons/ rental like all these boardsports they are way to over inflated. But equipment is expensive even though most of it is manufactured in China. But it is worth having lessons though, firstly the safety aspect and secondly you will improve quickly if the instructor is worth his or her salt. Lake looks clean sadly people can be the problem leaving litter. Car park next to the watersports centre is small, gets busy on hot days. It's definitely worth a visit

I had a private session with my kids learning to kayak and we really enjoyed it. The instructor was patient, made the time fun with games and I'd recommend it to anyone. I'd certainly book again.
