    Immersive Gamebox- Manchester Arndale

    ★★★★★ 4.9 (7,282 Reviews) Top rated Open

“Nestled in the bustling heart of Manchester Arndale at Unit R3, Halle Place, Market Street (M4 3AQ), Immersive Gamebox transforms a compact room into a high-octane augmented reality playground. This isn't your standard arcade—don lightweight motion-sensing visors, and suddenly, walls pulse with interactive projections, surround sound engulfs you, and every gesture controls the action. Games like Shaun the Sheep's Mossy Bottom Championsheeps or Angry Birds pit teams against puzzles, races, and battles, all in 60-minute bursts of collaborative chaos. For kids' parties around age 8, it's an absolute winner. Tailored for ages 8+, these experiences demand no prior gaming skills—just enthusiasm and movement. My group of eight-year-olds squealed through sheep-herding mini-games and alien invasions, their energy perfectly matched by the physical, team-based fun that builds camaraderie without screens glued to faces. Private boxes for 2-6 players (multiple for larger parties) mean no strangers crashing the vibe, and dedicated birthday packages add pizza, fries, and unlimited squash in a post-game lounge—pure party fuel for £20-£30 per child.”

“Wythenshawe Park and Gardens is one of the best green spaces in South Manchester, offering a mix of open fields, formal gardens, woodland walks, and family-friendly facilities. The park is well kept, with plenty of benches, flat paths for walking or cycling, and a relaxed atmosphere. The community farm and horticultural centre add extra interest, especially for younger visitors. There’s also a good café near the courtyard area, ideal for a quick lunch or coffee. It can get busy during events and weekends, but there's usually space to find a quiet corner. A reliable choice for a free day out with plenty to explore.”

Can walk around as many times as like and discover all animals. Gorgeous pigs, donkeys, goats and chickens enjoying themselves. There are ping pong tables for a quick out side game, children's play equipment. A river to walk along. A cafe to sit have a snack and drink. Squirrels running up and down the trees. Some animals look like they are rescue animals and are obviously being taken care of by the farm.”

It was affordable, and everything was included equipped, wetsuits, and instructors. The staff were friendly, and most of all, every single child enjoyed it. Plus, the kids were learning so many skills without even realising it. I would highly recommend it!”

“Visited Dec 2025 for land of lights. This was very well organised. I purchased marshmallows in advance. The lights are beautiful and it wasn't too busy to enjoy it and take pictures. There was a good amount of food and drink stops. Fire pits are dotted along the way to toast marshmallows. The trail is pram friendly but the higher dinosaurs area may be inaccessible for motorised wheel chair users or people with double prams. There is a good amount of toilets available throughout. You will also find play areas along the way. I do wish they had been slightly better lit though. A selection of smaller rides where also open at an extra cost. All in all really enjoyable night out with the family.”
