   The best Tesco, specifically the staff that are twins are the best staff you'll ever see. They are professional, efficient and empathetic. Give them a bonus for sure.

   My father was unfairly cornered and wrongfully accused of theft by one of the security guards at the store upon entering the store. Despite the fact that our family has been loyal customers for many years, he was questioned on whether he was allowed to enter the premises. The situation was deeply distressing and humiliating, especially considering that he has always been a respectful and honest customer. We have never experienced such treatment before, and it was both shocking and disappointing for him.

   One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Tesco (Leytonstone – 24 Sept). A reduced item scanned at full price at self-checkout. When I asked a staff member, she bluntly said it wasn’t reduced. I said “no problem, I won’t buy it” and she took it away. I then changed my mind and asked for it back to purchase. Instead of simply returning it, she aggressively shouted in my face (“Hello! Hey! Excuse me!!”), waving her hands inches away so that her spit landed on my face. This was humiliating and intimidating in front of other customers. When I complained to her duty manager, she tried to approach me again — still shouting, “What did I do? What is your problem?” — in front of her manager. That is completely unacceptable behaviour for any customer to face. Tesco’s official response to my complaint was only a £10 “goodwill gesture.” For being shouted at, physically intruded on, and humiliated in-store, £10 is insulting. It feels like Tesco do not take customer wellbeing or staff conduct seriously.

   I usually shop at the Tesco Superstore in Leytonstone, but lately, it’s been very frustrating. For many weeks now, the store has been constantly changing its layout due to renovations. Every time I go, I have to walk around in circles just to find basic products and just when I get used to the new place, it changes again! Yesterday, I went in specifically to buy a certain vegan pizza, and even with the help of a staff member, we couldn't find it. It seems like some products are being taken off the shelves during the renovation. On top of that, price labels are often incorrect, and I’ve even found expired products on the shelves — more than a week past the date. I understand that renovations are sometimes necessary, but this has been going on for over a month and it’s really affecting the shopping experience. I hope things improve soon because right now, it's stressful to shop there.

   Its not a good store there's always trouble in there crazy people kicking off doesn't make you feel safe that the security don't really do anything about it and the tills are always breaking down here thats the problem with replacing people with machines the toilets are always filfy last week for the while week the was wee all over the floor from the unrianl to the door and the cubicles where overflowing with wee and poo was coming out of it wee on the floor of the cubicles and yet the toilet was still open this store shouldn't be open its disgusting to be in that sort of state

   Meh Tesco has lost status on my list of faves. Here it's ok, bright and spacious, a little noisy most of the time. Come after 10 pm if you want a bit of peace and quiet, just don't expect any help or service

   Great supermarket with extremely helpful staff always happy to show you where the item you are looking for is rather than just tell you the aisle number. Wide selection of produce, top-quality vegetables and fruit (though I find the latter more expensive than in other supermarkets), fantastic in-house bakery, takeaway, butcher and fish counters... In fifteen or so years of shopping there was only one occasion when I couldn’t find what I was looking for – haggis. HIGLY RECOMMENDED!

   Your typical Tesco Extra. There is ample amount of varied products including South Asian aisle which is sufficiently stocked. Staff could be more helpful apart from some who are really good. Fresh fish section looks pretty eye catching. The regular beggars right outside the entrance are a big put off and surprisingly the security guard and the staff don’t seem to be bothered about them.
