Generally well stocked. The car park often lacks parent and child bays as people without kids park in them, including the workers! Rarely have interactions with the staff, but when I have, theyβve always been polite and helpful.

Had a most unpleasant experience at checkout today. The man on the till did not acknowledge me at any point. He threw my glass bottles down with no care at all and did not look to see if I had moved anything. After paying and whilst I walked away my husband said he never goes to the till if that man is on it as he has been rude and offhand to him before. Turns out this had happened to other members of the family too. A real problem which should have been picked by management as this person's attitude lets down the hard working pleasant other members of staff.

Visited the store at 10pm on a Friday night. A large group of masked youths were smoking weed and loitering in the car park, there were beggars and druggies sat in the foyer, and the store entrance smelt of rotten eggs. I didnβt feel safe leaving my car and it was a deeply unpleasant shopping experience.

I wonder when the car fumes issue in the car park is going to be fixed. It really puts of your shoppers. My kids dont like me to park there, so I started avoiding the location. Can't believe the management is not doing anything about it. Its absolutely against health and safety. You need to wake up about the problem.

This store is mostly fine and has a decent range of stock, but there are few negatives which put me off visiting (especially the last point). Most of the more negative points have been covered, but adding a few to reiterate: - car park smells bad, especially the lower one - things in the wrong places on shelves - very few tills (or none at all) open, so checkout takes much longer because you're forced to use the trolley checkouts which are very temperamental, scan slowly, and don't have a lot of space for scanned groceries/bags.

I frequently visit tesco at Highams Park especially in the rainier days as I have 2 small children and find it nice to park under shelter when the weather is less fortunate. Having visited this morning with my 2 year old child, I finished my shopping and returned back to my vehicle on the lower, lower ground parking where I was approached by 1 of your trolley assistants (itβs not the first time Iβve seen him) he made me feel extremely nervous and frightened as he stood at the window of my car where my 2 year child was in the back of staring, pulling off faces and talking to himself. Iβm fully aware of peoples disabilities, ways, etc but Iβve never felt more frightened as to have a strange man stand peering through my car window at my young child.

If only Tesco would learn, national initiative or not, Please have more staff on the checkouts. People need people and not machines. More staff, equals more interaction and better and more shopping. Iβve stopped doing my large shop here because of automated checkouts. I do love this store and the staff! Toilets are always quite clean, so thank you for the lady who maintains this. Parking is also good.

Itβs great to have a large Tesco nearby, but for anyone seeking vegetarian or plant based produce this branch disappoints. The plentiful vegetarian and plant based stock is scattered unhelpfully throughout the store rather than in one clear and accessible section, so itβs very confusing and easy to miss things. I have flagged this up several times with staff who have politely listened but apparently ignored the feedback. There must be other vegetarian shoppers also choosing to shop elsewhere, which is a shame given the current increasing interest in plant based foods.

Lovely staff but too few of them to cope so shelves are sparsely stocked. The store was recently reconfigured for Tesco's convenience at the expense of customer inconvenience, replacing most of the normal tills with trolley self-service lanes. Rearranged the store so you'll walk miles searching for stuff. No doubt to delay you joining the massive queues of tired, frustrated shoppers at the checkouts but you'll reach them eventually...
