   Title: UNBELIEVABLE HARASSMENT AND FALSE ACCUSATION BY MANAGER I have been a loyal daily customer at this store for over 7 years. Today, on 23rd November 2025, Manager Ziaul subjected me to the most humiliating and distressing experience of my life. After I correctly used the Smart Shop app to scan and pay for all my groceries, I was falsely accused of theft by Manager Ziaul. He refused to look at the digital receipt on my phone. He then instructed security to CLOSE THE STORE DOOR, trapping me inside. For over 5 minutes, he screamed at me, used foul language, and personally insulted me in front of other customers. As a final insult, after his tirade, he told me, "Don't come back. I don't want to see you," banning me from my local shop for no reason. He threatened to lie about the event, stating, "I will tell them I hate him." I am physically shaken and unwell from this ordeal. My loyalty and my character were shattered in minutes by an abusive manager. I have all the receipts proving my innocence. I have filed a formal legal claim with Sainsbury's head office.    Went in at 4.30 pm and the place was a little crowded. At the same time, a member of staff was stocking the cold section, so unfortunately, the main aisle near the doorway where everyone would automatically walk down, was blocked. The bakery section was nearly empty but I presume they would refill at some point. Apart from that, a good location foe a quick purchase, which is why I was there.

   I actually quite like this Sainsbury’s and the staff there, but it is still probably the worst I have ever been to in my life. To give you an idea of what we’re working with; you’d buy a yogurt or pot of fruit, get home, and then realise it had already been opened by someone else while it was on the shelf. This happened to me twice and one time it was obvious they had tried to glue it back together with PVA. Had to bin it all because it could have gone off already or been tampered with. There’s never more than 2 staff members in the shop at one time, which means there’s long queues and waiting times as no one comes to approve age restricted items. Also witnessed shoplifting many times but that’s not really the shops fault. Just the area and people living there…

   This Sainsbury’s local expensive I’ll never ever visit again they are charging £14.95 for b&h blue its more expensive than off license store rude behaviour to customers Sainsbury’s local i suggest dont go to buy cigarettes or tobacco expensive here thanks

   The security guy and counter staff are insufficient and have bad customer service. They just do not care. I went shopping last night and at the self check-out, a guy next to me had 4 big pizzas. The guy's card decline and he left the pizzas and walked out. I told the security guy to take them away and put it back as leaving it out of the cool area will spoil the product. He ignored me. I tried to call the girl from the counter who was not serving anyone at that time and she too ignored. Then I called the supervisor and he took the pizzas away. Please be careful when buying stuff that need to be stored at cool areas.

   A convenience local, this store stocks a small selection of meals but focuses on things people would pick up rather than do a full shop. The store is often understaffed with long queues and often has issues with thieves late at night. When they are around, the staff are well mannered and happy to help.
