I am extremely disappointed in the way the manager spoke me yesterday around 5pm. I asked a worker if someone else can come to the till because there was a long queue starting to form and there was only one till open. Once the second till opened the manager assumed I was going to jump the queue and spoke to me in the most disrespectful way, his tone and attitude is not something I thought I’d be hearing from a manager. This is all based of assumptions as he thought I’d skip the queue. As a retail manager myself you’d think that being respectful to your customers is an important aspect when running a business the way he went about the situation was not necessary as I did nothing and he just embarrassed me in front of all the customers there. His name is Salam or Salah he was on duty manager on the 20th December 2025 5pm Barkingside Iceland

Lots of frozen food sold here. Also some other groceries. Good prices and has it's own paid parking round the back.

Absolutely disgraceful experience at Iceland. My mother went in and received cashback, but in her rush didn’t notice that the notes she was handed were fake. When she returned to address the issue, not only did the staff and management refuse to take any responsibility, but they also laughed at her and made fun of her distress. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional behaviour. Instead of offering support, they dismissed her concerns and made her feel like a nuisance. No apology, no attempt to investigate, and no accountability whatsoever. She lost £50 because of their failure to properly check the notes—something that should be standard practice and part of basic staff training. The way she was treated was appalling. Iceland should be ashamed to have such poorly trained and insensitive staff representing their brand. A voucher or even an attempt at a solution would have shown some level of customer care, but she was met with nothing but mockery. We will never be shopping here again.

Bad. In 10 years of life in Uk I used Iceland like 3 times only. Now i understand why... Iceland had no dental floss?? No fresh bakery??.. Whatever...

Incredibly neat , clean and well stocked store. However , don't even check the reduced range , it's the only neglected fridge, most items aren't priced (price reduced) , and no self service , which can make paying a bit slow.

Small Iceland with the main products stocked, normally have little staff at the till so everytime I've been there, there has been a queue
