Very rude staff walked away from me to restock batteries when I was at the till, so I had to ask for them to repeat their answer about which cell batteries they had, which they said with their back to me, rather than taking 5 seconds to treat me like a person I used the self checkout in the end

Went into this place at 12.45pm on Sunday 31st March ( Easter Sunday) Bought ยฃ18.55 worth of food, and asked to purchase some scratch cards. Was told " not today as too busy, manager said not too sell them" Totally astounded by this, and asked to see the manager. Was then told, they were not in, but not too sell scratchcards. If I was a smoker, and asked for tobacco, would that have been refused? Think not, as this is a high ticket item and that means money. Please avoid this Tesco, and go to the Sainsbury's 2 minute walk down the road. My wife and I could not believe the lack of customer service here. Stuart

I need to say that this is the worst tesco i have ever been too and it is because of this one security guy there who is following me and my gf during the time there. It was disgusting to see him chasing down on us, he even came to the self check ou to check us out. It was like he never seen woman before. What a disgrace, I do not remember the name, but i will find it and add it here.

Offended and dismissed, possibly due to racial profiling. I walked in this afternoon and spoke to the apparent standing manager Monday/16/10/23 between 4pm- 5pm. I had originally asked where the condiments were since I was unsuccessful with locating them myself. Instead of clearly telling me he just pointed and muttered "over there" meaning I had to ask a second time. I purchased an item at the time that had a club card offer, however came up to full price once scanned despite my club card. The cashier went to confirm this and asked her colleague about it. The same man who had spoken dismissively to me. He stood firm and told me that the offer was meant for a different item. The items have the same brand and name however the difference between the two is that they are used for different reasons therefore the one I didn't plan to purchase has a key detail added to it. The "standing manager" didn't even care to take a look at this and decided to continue to try and gaslight me regarding the very obvious detail which he should be aware of considering it's his job to know. He's payed to know this, his apparent position requires basic knowledge of this especially when it's so blatant. Generally I would have gone about my day however his poor attitude, lack of awareness, disrespect to paying customers (I'm worried about how he treats non paying customers) everyone is amaking a living, however when your job involves customer service then that's what should be given who hired him as a manager?? Who manages him. Hence why I've put a time stamp and date, it'll be easier to check CCTV and rota schedules. The security card decided to inform me that it was his first day working there hence why he couldn't give me the "manager's" name and the "manager" refused to give me his name and decided to argue with me. Feeling disgusted. If this is how he cares for people how does he care for produce. Where does his care lay?

JUST came back and heard the lady at the till getting angry at a customer for bringing in pennies to pay with and further goes on to say theres a bank right there so he shouldve gotten it changed from there. Appalling. Its her job as a cashier to take any legal tender at the till.

Meal deal bought everyday for past year. Shopping atleast 2-3 times a week. Today, you refused to take my evri parcel because he couldnโt be bothered to take it. Will never shop here again.

Very poor store. A couple of hardworkers keeping it running but the Store Manager can be found most days sitting around the till ignoring customers in the queue when nobody else is about. He obviously relies heavily on the few good staff that maintain the shop. The sandwiches are never stocked up for the morning commute which is very frustrating and the store itself is quite dirty. This store is overall abit of a disappointing addition to the High Street.
