Visited Tesco just now and it’s Saturday at 22:30, only to find the store closed! Their timings online shows until 23:00. The store manager needs to correct this misinformation so locals do not waste time taking a journey to this shop and just drive straight to the Tesco near Gallows Corner.
Would like to say how very helpful Tracey on the customer services desk was today when I was purchasing gift cards, as was the young guy she called over in relation to a query (didn't see his name badge). We often like to highlight the bad things, but when good things happen we shoukd most certainly highlight that too. Its a shame not all retail staff do not have the same outlook and attitude as Tracey.
Quite small Tesco like a Tesco express but is showing as superstore, not many options but serves the purpose for the local community.
Why is there no signage clearly stating that this is not a Tesco car park? It’s incredibly misleading for drivers, especially given its location and layout. Many might reasonably assume it's part of Tesco, when in fact it belongs to the council. Proper signage would help prevent confusion and potential fines—it’s only fair to make the distinction clear to the public.
The Tesco in collier row lane is my local Tesco , I often visit here and the staff do know me and have a little chat with me . I visited here on the 27 th June purchased the lean British mince the expired date was 30 th June , upon looking today I found the mince to be off a very nasty brown and leaking , I took the item back , but unfortunately had no receipt, but purchased with my club card, the manager Kelly was called over and refused to exchange the item unless I had a receipt, even though upon looking, she admitted the item was off , I was made to feel as though I had stolen the mince , she was very rude , not helpful at all and I left feeling very irate . As a manager she should know that you have 30 days to refund any item and if you purchased with your club card that is your proof of receipt, she did not even ask for this or offer to print this out, which Iam told she could of done . I am very reluctant to visit this store in future due the treatment I received from the manager !
Fix the ticket machines, never more than 1 working and that's hidden in the corner. People get un fair tickets has you go to 1 machine see it not in service so u go the next and next and don't see the 1 hidden in corner sort it out they make enough from giving wrongful tickets. Thanks
No issues apart from man with cleaning machine going up and down aisles whilst people shopping. That is a accident waiting to happen as the floors are left slightly wet. This was at 0715.
Nice new refurbishment, but freezing cold in there for customers and staff. Surprised that this is evaluated as a superstore because it doesn't stock all the products it used to before the refurbishment, and even then, it was only a metro. As a superstore it warrants less than 3 stars. First 30 minutes it is free to park for which you need a ticket, problem is the meters are frequently out of use and you usually have to go to a meter much further away. The one near the disability spaces is covered over and permanently out of use. Staff are lovely, kind helpful and go the extra mile.
Went in to Tescos This morning at Ten o Clock for same baked Bread none on The self asked a member of staff who did not know why said if be Ten Minutes waited till 10.30 still no Baked Bread so gave up won’t be relying on this Store again
Due to this store having a refit it is a bit of a shambles. Not very inviting outside. I am sure when it is finished it will be better than ever.
