   I went earlier today. And for the most part it was OK. I had trouble finding what I was looking for. But some helpful staff did help me. As someone who works at Tesco. I appreciate how busy people are. Sure the freezer malfunctioned. One was coated in ice. But things like this happen. My only main complaint would be the toilets are closed all the time. And on a Sunday when the library is shut there is no other toilets.

   If I could give negative stars I would. I went in to buy a meal deal, but they dont stock sandwhiches. Not a big deal, wont get anything then. Go to the doors to leave, but you cant leave. They have put in gatea to stop people from walking out without buying anything. I would have to walk to the oppoiste end of the shop to leave. Expect I am disabled and was barely staying upright. I hated feeling like my body was going to collapse and feeling like a criminal because I wanted to leave without buying anything. If they had just had an exit on the first door I wouldnt feel so terrible or so judged becaus they didnt have what I wanted. I felt like they had no compassion for their disabled customers.

   I visit this Asda store often as it is my local Asda but I’m becoming increasingly disappointed with the level of service. There are increasingly more times when shelves are not restocked and today when I visited a whole isle of the frozen section was empty, obviously due to the freezer’s malfunctioning. There are many times I visit and the baskets are not restocked at the main entrances at both ends of the store meaning you have to go and locate one by the self service tills yourself. On this visit again I was unable to get one out of five items I went in for. The main serving grace of the Asda is its size and location so if something is not available you go in for you can usually find an alternative, plus it does have a decent George section. However, there are better Asdas slightly further afield.

   Staff do not know ASDA return policy and even when shown the policy they refuse to follow it. Staff then become rude and disrespectful. No staff around to help or busy talking around the self service checkouts. Very disappointed.

   The product range itself is very good, but everything else is awful to be honest. Overcrowded, understaffed - they want you to use the trolley tills, most people prefer a staffed till (for big shops). And your toilets are a health and safety hazard. Dirty, wet floors - a big store like this deserves better toilet facilities. My pregnant wife nearly slipped over in there.

   On 4 occasions I have had to deal with customer services. On 2 of those occasions the members of staff ignored my presence and were quite rude. Lucky that they have a member of staff called Rebecca. She is very helpful. On the 2 occasions that I really needed help with returns or refund queries, I am thankful that she served me and not the former (didn't get their names). She promotes customer service by going above and beyond to help customers, and does so with a friendly smile. I did mention this to a store manager and asked that my comments got back to her, along with the complaint to the others, who I pointed out at the time, but nothing got fed back to me or Rebecca. She needs to know that there are customers who appreciate her attitude and work ethic.

   I recently had some trouble with my Asda Travel Money card and Gayna from the desk was absolutely amazing at helping me work through it. So friendly, approachable and most of all helpful!! Thank you Gayna!!!
